Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350'F. Grease a 8.5x3.5 loaf pan.
- 2. In a large bowl, sift in flour, cocoa powder and baking powder. Add in salt, sugar. Stir to mix well.
- 3. Then, add in all the wet ingredients: yogurt, eggs, coffee and oil. Use a whisk and whisk everything together until blended.
- 4. Pour into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean. Cool in pan for 5 minutes before taking it out to cool completely on wire rack.

- In a small bowl over a pot of boiling water (make sure water does not touch bottom of bowl) melt chocolate (broken into pieces) and butter, when they have almost melted remove bowl from heat and stir until smooth. (let cool slightly).
- In a large bowl beat eggs and sugar until creamy, add cooled melted chocolate, yogurt and flour mixture, beat until smooth, add chopped pears and combine gently with a wooden spoon, spoon into prepared cake pan. Bake for approximately 35 minutes (test with a toothpick). Let cool, remove from pan, sprinkle with powdered sugar. Enjoy!
