Steps:

  • Heat a deep-fryer to 375 degrees.
  • Coat zucchini sticks in flour with salt and pepper mixture.
  • Coat in egg and milk mixture.
  • Coat in bread-crumbs.
  • Deep fry for 3.5 minutes exactly.
  • Combine sour cream and ranch for dipping.
  • Drain zucchini and serve hot.

2 large zucchini, cut into 1/4 'd sticks
1 cup flour
2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons pepper
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup milk
1 cup breadcrumbs (panko)
3/4 cup sour cream
1/8 cup ranch dressing

Steps:

  • Cut Zucchini into sticks; about 3-4 inches in length and quartered.
  • Season zucchini sticks w salt and pepper.
  • Toss zucchini sticks in flour.
  • Individually, dip zucchini stick in egg then in breadcrumb mix.
  • Cooking options:.
  • 1) Deep fry in medium high heat until golden brown.
  • 2) Oven bake in 425F for about 10 minutes. Check in about 8 mins, this entirely depends on how thick the sticks are and how well you like them cooked. Usually, once the breadcrumbs are gold brown the insides are cooked through.
  • if yo want garlic,oregano and parmesan in the recipe add with the salt and paper step seasoning.
  • DIP: mix sour cream and ranch dressing.

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a large bowl, beat the butter until creamy.
  • Gradually add in the confectioners' sugar; mix well.
  • Combine the flour and salt in a smaller bowl; add to the butter mixture and beat on low speed until combined.
  • Add in the pecans, vanilla and ice water.
  • Shape the dough in 4" sticks and place on greased baking sheets.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes, or until browned.
  • Roll in confectioners' sugar and store in airtight containers for up to 2 weeks.
  • These also may be frozen for up to 2 months.
