UPPER PENINSULA PASTIES
I grew up in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, where many people are of English ancestry. Pasties-traditional meat pies often eaten by hand-are popular there. -Carole Lynn Derifield, Valdez, Alaska

PINKY'S APPLE PASTIES
These Apple pasties are great and very few ingredients, but you will have to make plenty as I discovered because they go fast and everybody wants more. I almost regret starting them as I get plenty of demand from my family for them. I found this in an old english country side cook book, and its so easy and a hit.
