POLAR BEAR COOKIES

These cookies are unbearably cute and easy to make!

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F. In large bowl, mix cookie mix, flour, melted butter and egg until soft dough forms.
  • Shape into 24 (1 1/2-inch) balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown on edges. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack. Cool completely.
  • Using knife, spread 1 teaspoon frosting on cookie. Immediately sprinkle sugar evenly over frosting. Slightly flatten 2 miniature marshmallows, and press on cookie for ears. Using chocolate icing, pipe eyes, nose and mouth on cookie. Repeat with remaining cookies.

Chocolate Teddy Bear Pops image

Steps:

  • In large bowl, beat sugar, butter, vanilla and egg with spoon until smooth. Stir in flour and cocoa. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour.
  • Heat oven to 375°F. Shape dough into 20 (1-inch) balls and 20 (3/4-inch) balls. To make each cookie, on ungreased cookie sheet, arrange 1 large ball and 1 small ball with sides touching. Insert about 1 1/2 inches of wooden stick through center of 1-inch ball and into smaller ball. Press floured bottom of glass on dough until about 1/4 thick. Place pairs of dough balls about 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.
  • Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until set. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.
  • Place waxed paper on tray. Melt candy coating as directed on package. Spoon coating over cookies; place on waxed paper. Sprinkle with chocolate candy sprinkles. Add gumdrops for ears. Add chocolate candies for hands and feet. Add cinnamon candies for eyes and nose.

Steps:

  • In large bowl, stir cookie mix, eggs, butter and flour until dough forms. Divide dough into thirds. Tint one-third of dough with red food color, kneading until completely blended. Repeat with another one-third of dough and blue food color. Tint remaining one-third of dough with white food color. Wrap each portion of dough in plastic wrap; refrigerate 2 hours.
  • Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 2 cookie sheets with cooking spray. Roll each color of dough into 26 (3/4-inch) balls. Shape each ball into 12-inch rope. Place 1 each of red, blue and white ropes together. Starting at 1 end, coil ropes to make 2 3/4-inch round cookie. Place 3 inches apart on cookie sheets. Insert 1 lollipop stick into bottom of each cookie.
  • Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until bottoms are lightly golden. Cool 5 minutes; remove to cooling racks. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.

  • Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick cookie sheet). Line cookie sheet with foil. Cut each candy bar in half crosswise. Poke craft stick into side of each.
  • In large bowl, mix cake mix, oil and egg with spoon until dough forms. For each cookie pop, form 1 rounded tablespoonful of dough into a ball; flatten in palm of hand, and place candy on top. Form dough around candy, sealing well. Roll in powdered sugar to cover completely. Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.
  • Bake 11 to 13 minutes or until set. Cookie will appear moist in the cracks. Let cool on cookie sheet 2 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.
