BEEFY MUSHROOM RICE

Saw this recipe on the back of the can when I was in college. I ate this alot. Great side dish!

Beefy Mushroom Rice image

Steps:

  • 1. Bring soup to a boil, either in a microwave safe dish or on top of the stove. Add rice, stir into soup. Cover, remove from heat, let it sit for 10 min. Fluff with a fork, serve! Simple as that!!

1 can(s) instant rice

  • In a glass microwave safe dish with a lid combine rice, butter, and the rest of the ingredients. Cover and microwave on high for 20 minutes. Fluff with fork before serving.

1 cup regular long grain white rice uncooked
1 stick of butter or margarine
1 11oz can Campbells French Onion Soup
1 11oz can Campbells Beef Consume
1 9oz can mushrooms

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, saute mushrooms in butter for 2 minutes. Add beef to pan; cook for 4-6 minutes or until heated through, stirring occasionally., Meanwhile, cook rice according to package directions. Remove beef mixture from the heat; stir in sour cream. Serve with rice.

YUMMY BAKED RICE WITH BEEF CONSOMMÉ AND MUSHROOMS image

Steps:

  • 1. Place stick of butter in 11 x 13 casserole dish.
  • 2. Place in oven; turn temperature to 350 degrees.
  • 3. Remove dish when butter is melted.
  • 4. Add rice, soups, and mushrooms to dish atop melted butter.
  • 5. Stir loosely with fork or spoon so that all rice is dispersed in liquid.
  • 6. Place dish in oven and bake for 30-40 minutes or until top is golden.
  • 7. The rice can be made early in the day (even the day before) and reheated just before serving. It reheats beautifully in the microwave or on a very low oven (250 F to 300 F) for 15 minutes or until heated through.
