Basic Burgers image

Steps:

  • Preheat a grill to medium. Form 2 pounds ground beef into eight 4-inch patties, making sure the edges are slightly thicker than the middle; generously season both sides with salt and pepper. Grill until lightly charred, 3 to 4 minutes per side for medium. Toast 8 split hamburger buns on the grill until marked, about 30 seconds. Serve the burgers on the toasted buns with assorted toppings.

The Perfect Basic Burger image

Steps:

  • Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil grate.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together egg, salt and pepper. Place ground beef and bread crumbs into the mixture. With hands or a fork, mix until well blended. Form into 4 patties approximately 3/4 inch thick.
  • Place patties on the prepared grill. Cover and cook 6 to 8 minutes per side, or to desired doneness.

There's a secret to the better burger and you'll find it in the mix. Because the flavors are right in the meat and not just from the toppings, these burgers explode with taste from the first bite to the last. Make an everyday barbecue taste gourmet from the inside out. I found the recipe in Kraft Food & Family magazine. I have not tried this recipe, but I'm posting it for safe keeping.

Beyond Basic Burgers - 4 Different Burgers image

Steps:

  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Mix 1 pound lean meat, add-ins and 2 tablespoons of the Kraft barbecue sauce. Shape into 4 patties.
  • Grill 7-9 minutes on each side or until cooked through, brushing with remaining 2 tablespoons Kraft barbecue sauce during last 2 minutes of grilling time.
  • Place on patties on buns.
  • Note: For a further flavor kick, try a Kraft singles slice with the pork or beef burgers and cranberry sauce with the turkey burger.

1 lb ground chicken
1/2 cup kraft shredded colby-monterey jack cheese
2 tablespoons Oscar Mayer real bacon bits
2 1/2 ounces shake n bake original chicken coating mix (1/2 of 5.5oz pkg)
1/4 cup original barbecue sauce, divided
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup kraft shredded low moisture part-skim mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup thick n spicy original barbecue sauce, divided
1 lb ground pork
1/2 cup chopped apple
2 1/2 ounces shake n bake original pork seasoned coating mix (1/2 of 5.5oz pkg)
1/4 cup honey barbecue sauce, divided

Greek Grilled Beyond Meat® Burgers image

Steps:

  • Grate cucumber and place in a colander to drain for 10 minutes. Press out any remaining liquid with paper towels.
  • Stir together cucumber, yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, dill, and salt in a small bowl; set aside.
  • Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.
  • Sprinkle Greek seasoning on both sides of burger patties.
  • Place patties on the preheated grill and cook for 4 minutes. Flip and grill for 4 more minutes. Place burgers on buns and top with lettuce, onion, tomato, olives, and reserved cucumber sauce.
