BETTER-THAN-THE-BAG BROWNIE CRISPS
The brownie for those who like the edges, the part of the brownie where the crisp meets the chewy. Remember, the thinner the batter, the crispier the result. Adjust baking time accordingly.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease with nonstick spray.
- Place butter and chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals until melted, stirring between each interval. Stir sugar, vanilla extract, and espresso into the melted chocolate. Set aside.
- Whisk flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda together.
- Beat egg whites with an electric mixer until frothy, 3 to 4 minutes. Pour in chocolate mixture and beat until combined. Mix in the flour mixture until a thick batter forms.
- Spread batter onto the prepared baking sheet. Cover with plastic wrap. Place another baking sheet on top and smash it flat to ensure the batter is as thin as possible. Peel off plastic wrap and sprinkle chocolate chips over the batter.
- Bake in the preheated oven until crisp, about 25 minutes. Allow to cool on the baking sheet before breaking up into pieces.

BROWNIE BRITTLE BAR/PIE CRUST
I randomly thought of this recipe and thought it would be great to figure out how to make it. But then I googled it and found a recipe that uses this exact crust! The recipe, FYI, was Brownie Brittle Eggnog Cheesecake Bars, which I will post soon. Havent tried either yet, but figured I'd post it anyway! Enjoy, and let me know...

Steps:
- 1. Mix 1 stick of melted butter with 2 Cups of Brownie Brittle crumbs.
- 2. Press into a greased 9 x 13 pan and Bake for 8 min at 350° (or a pie plate, I suppose. May need to adjust recipe to have enough for the sides of the crust. Play with it...have extra ingredients on hand!)
BROWNIE BRITTLE

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl beat together the brownie mix with the melted butter, egg white and 1/3 cup water until well combined. Use a rubber spatula to fold in the chocolate chunks and crushed candies.
- Pour the batter onto the prepared baking sheet and use an offset spatula to spread into an even 1/4-inch-thick layer. Scatter over the pretzel twists and gently press into the top. Sprinkle with the sea salt.
- Bake until crisp looking and mostly dry, 30 to 40 minutes. Then turn off the oven and leave the brittle inside until completely cool and dry. Break apart and serve.
BROWNIE BRITTLE
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, beat the eggs, oil, sugar, water and vanilla. Whisk together the flour, cocoa, salt, baking powder and, if desired, espresso powder; stir into egg mixture until blended. , Spread into a greased or parchment paper-lined 15x10x1-in. baking pan. Top with chopped nuts if desired. Bake until very firm to the touch, 12-15 minutes. Cool on a wire rack. Break into pieces. In a microwave, melt chocolate chips and oil; stir until smooth. Drizzle over pieces. Let stand until set before cutting.

Steps:
- 1. Prepare a 9" pie plate or springform pan with food release spray.
- 2. Combine ingredients, just until blended.
- 3. Spread mixture into baking dish. Bake at 350* for 15-20 minutes -- do not over bake.
- 4. Remove from the oven and allow to cool 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, with buttered fingers, gently and evenly press the mixture along the bottom and up the sides of the pan, to form a crust. Cool completely.
- 5. NOTE: That's it -- you're done! Try using this yummy crust with my 3-ingredient "Triple Treat Pie" filling recipe.
