MELON MARGARITA
Melon liqueur dramatically changes the flavor and color of a classic margarita and also makes it sweeter. If you'd like your melon margarita a little more tart, cut back on the liqueur just a tiny bit. -James Schend, Taste of Home Deputy Editor

CANTALOUPE MARGARITA
I've been trying all kinds of margaritas this summer, and here is one that is unique. If you're a melon fan and can find a nice sweet one, try this! I found this on the lovely blog of a fellow Washingtonian and Cougs fan, called Country Cleaver.

- Fill a cocktail shaker with all the cantaloupe puree, tequila, lime juice, orange liqueur, and agave. Shake well.
- On a small dish, mix together the sugar and salt. Using a slice of lime, wipe around the rim of two glasses. Dip the rim of the glasses into the sugar/salt mixture. Fill both glasses with ice. Pour cantaloupe margarita into the glasses. Serve immediately.
