I have seen many recipes for these delicious and refreshing grapes so I can not claim credit for it nor can I give credit to any one page, but lots of people have similar ideas. I hope you enjoy them as much as my friends and family do!

Steps:
- 1. clean grapes, remove from stems and dry with a paper towel. Remove as much water as possible. Insert toothpicks into grapes. Don't poke all the way through.
- 2. crush peanuts and set aside. The food processor works great for this. You can chop a couple of cups of nuts in just a minute or two.
- 3. In a double boiler or heavy sauce pan on the stove, melt caramel bits and half and half until it makes a thick and smooth sauce
- 4. make an "assembly line" of sorts. Have your grapes, your caramel sauce, and your bowl of crushed nuts in a line with an empty tray to but finished grapes onto.
- 5. Pick up grapes by the toothpick, dip into caramel then immediately into crushed nuts. Place on tray. Try to make it so that the toothpicks are standing up straight. Globe grapes work better for this because they are more rounded on the bottom but it doesn't matter what kind you use.
- 6. If not serving immediately, chill in refrigerator until you are ready to serve.
- 7. VARIATIONS -- instead of using peanuts, you can use pecans, cashews, pretzels, or most any other crunchy and salty snack. I have thought about using small pretzel rods instead of toothpicks to have a totally edible snack but have not tried it yet. You can use either half and half or heavy cream, you can even use regular milk if that is all you have but the caramel will not be as rich and creamy. If you do not have access to the caramel bits (available in the baking isle at my Walmart store) you can use regular caramel squares but I like using the bits better because they melt faster and I don't have to spend what seems like hours unwrapping them!

- 2. When grapes are dried, place a toothpick at the top of each one. Dip in warm caramel then in crushed peanuts. Set on a nice serving plate or in a air tight container. These are sure to be gone in minutes.

Steps:
- 1. Wash and dry grapes (the bigger the grapes the better).
- 2. Chop up the honey roasted peanuts (a food processor works great). You don't want dust, just very small pieces. Place in a bowl.
- 3. Melt almond bark or white chocolate chips in the microwave. Place them in a microwave safe bowl and heat on high for about 30 seconds. Remove and stir and repeat at 15-20 second intervals until completely melted, stirring each time.
- 4. Lay out wax paper on a cookie sheet. Dip your grapes about half way in the bark or chocolate, then into the finely chopped peanuts. Set on wax papered tray. When all grapes are dipped put them into the refrigerator to help them set quicker. When all the grapes are set, put them onto a covered serving platter or in a ziplock bag and store in the fridge until needed. These are fine made a day ahead, but I wouldn't make them much earlier than that. Enjoy!

Steps:
- Wash apples, then dry completely. (Note: In order for the caramel sauce to stick to the apples, the apples need to be well chilled before washing, drying and dipping in the caramel sauce.)
- Insert wooden pop stick into stem end of each apple. Microwave caramels and milk in large glass microwaveable measuring cup on HIGH 2 to 2-1/2 min. or until caramels are completely melted and mixture is well blended when stirred.
- Cover large plate with parchment; spray with cooking spray. Place nuts in bowl. Dip apples, 1 at a time, into caramel sauce, turning to evenly coat each apple. Hold dipped apple over bowl to let excess caramel drip back into bowl. Dip apples in nuts; place on prepared plate.
- Refrigerate 1 hour or until caramel is firm. Remove apples from refrigerator 15 min. before serving. (Note: Caramel apples can be refrigerated up to 2 days before serving.)

- Set up a pan covered in waxed paper. You’ll also need small bowls for the caramel sauce and nuts.

- Pour the caramel bits and cream into a saucepan or microwave safe container. Heat them until they are thoroughly melted. Stir to mix the caramel and cream.
