Steps:
- Process first 3 ingredients in food processor until blended. Stir in chiles.
- Shape into 4-inch oval on sheet of waxed paper to resemble pinecone. Insert nuts in rows to completely cover cream cheese mixture. Transfer to serving plate.
- Refrigerate 2 hours. Let stand at room temperature 15 min. before serving to soften slightly.

Steps:
- Stir cream cheese, goat cheese, parsley, tarragon, thyme, garlic, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper together in a bowl until smooth and well-mixed.
- Turn cheese mixture out onto a serving platter and form into a tapered oval shape to resemble a pine cone.
- Starting at the tapered end, press almonds into the cheese cone so that the tip of the almond is facing out and down, and cheese cone is completely covered with almonds and resembles a pine cone. Place rosemary sprigs at the top to resemble pine needles.

- In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise, bacon, onion, dill and pepper; chill. Form into two pinecone shapes on a serving platter. Beginning at the narrow end of each shape, arrange almonds in overlapping rows. Garnish with rosemary if desired. Serve with crackers or vegetables.

THE HEAVYSET CHEESE BALL
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
- Place and spread all the almonds on a cookie sheet or in a shallow pan, pushing the almonds around until they turn color, about 20 minutes.
- Mix together the cream cheese and the mayonnaise. Add the bacon, salt and pepper, dill, and onion. Chill overnight.
- On a serving platter, make 2 pine cone shapes with the cheese. Begin to press the almonds at a slight angle into the cheese, starting at the narrow end of the pine cone shape.
- Do this in rows, continuing to overlap rows until all the cheese is covered. Garnish with fake sprigs, or real ones, or with rosemary.
- Serve at room temperature and spread on crackers.
CHEESE PINE CONES
Originally this was printed on a Hellman's label and I've had it for years and years. It's a fancy way to spreading the holiday cheese! Easy and I've spread the leftovers (minus the nuts) on bread and grilled it in the toaster oven for a different breakfast treat. Very good.

CHEESE AND PINEAPPLE SCONES
These are great with butter and/or jam. I like them straight out of the oven but they are good cold as well.

- Preheat oven to 220 deg Celsius. Line a baking tray with non-stick paper.
- Sift the flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl. Rub in the margarine until the mix resembles breadcrumbs.
- Fold in the dry mustard, cheese and pineapple. Add enough milk to make a fairly soft dough.
- Lightly flour your surface. Turn out your dough and knead lightly. Gently roll out to 2cm (3/4") thickness. Be careful not to overwork. Using a 5cm cutter or glass, stamp out rounds (using even pressure). Move them to the prepared tray.
- Brush tops with milk and bake for about 10 minutes, or until well risen and golden. Cool on wire rack before serving either warm or cold.

- Mix cream cheese and mayo together until smooth and well mixed.
- Add bacon, green onions, dill and white pepper - mix well and chill.
- Form cream cheese mixture into the shape pine cone top. Set aside.
- On a cookie sheet, add almonds in a single layer. Bake them at 300 degrees, stirring often, for 15 minutes or until slightly brown. Cool almonds and decorate the cream cheese by placing rows of the almonds from top to bottom. Add a small piece of parsley at the top of the pine cone. Serve with crackers.

- Pulse 1 cup grahams in a food processor until fine crumbs form. In a large bowl, beat butter, Nutella, cookie spread and 3 cups confectioners' sugar until smooth; stir in crumbs., Mold 1/4 cup dough around a pretzel rod in a cone shape to within 1 in. of top; place on a waxed paper-lined baking sheet. Starting at the bottom, insert tail ends of Goldfish grahams, flat side up, into dough to resemble a pine cone, trimming tails of fish as needed near the top. Using kitchen scissors, cut off tip of pretzel; place a small amount of dough on top of pretzel. Repeat with remaining dough and pretzels., Dust pine cones with remaining confectioners' sugar. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
