INSTANT POT® CHERRY-ORANGE CRANBERRY SAUCE
This cranberry sauce practically makes itself! It's quick, and you won't have to keep a constant eye on it. Substitute the water for apple or orange juice, or do half water and half rum! Can be made several days ahead of time, will keep for at least a week in the refrigerator, and can even be frozen if needed.

CHERRY CRANBERRY SAUCE
My mother-in-law makes this super-easy sauce every Thanksgiving. Cherries give tart cranberries a slightly sweet flavor. I serve it alongside turkey, pork and ham.

CHERRY-CRANBERRY SAUCE (FOR BEGINNERS)
I know that all of you great cooks will scoff at this recipe, lol, but my little granddaughter wanted to make something for Thanksgiving and everything seemed to be already taken care of except the cranberry sauce. Since it was late and we did not have any fresh or frozen cranberries, we decided to use what I had in my pantry. Of course, its nothing like the fresh, cooked sauce, but it will do, in a pinch. She was so proud that she got to stir it up all by herself. I have made it this way before (at the last minute) and everyone seemed to like it.

This recipe is a great change of pace from the more common orange-cranberry sauce combinations. We especially like it around the holidays served alongside a roast turkey. It's so much better than canned cranberry sauce. -Janet Briggs

- Add the dried cherries to the juice and take the pan off of the heat, turning off the stove. Let the cherries sit in the hot juice for about ten minutes to rehydrate the cherries.
- Turn the stovetop back on to medium heat, bringing the berries to a boil. Cook the berries and cherries together until the sauce begins to thicken and the cranberries soften. This should take about ten to twelve minutes. Stir the sauce frequently while you’re cooking it.
