Chicken In Coke Recipes

Steps:

• Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
• Place the chicken pieces into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Season with salt and pepper. In a medium bowl, mix together the Worcestershire sauce, ketchup and cola. Pour over the chicken. Cover with a lid or aluminum foil.
• Bake for 50 minutes in the preheated oven, until the chicken is no longer pink.

Steps:

• Melt the butter/margarine in the pot at medium heat.
• Add the garlic.
• Once the garlic is browning, add your chicken pieces.
• When chicken is lightly browned on both sides, add the onions diced.
• Once onions are almost fully cooked, add the oxtail soup.
• Stir lightly to spread the oxtail over the chicken pieces, then add half the can of coke and continue stirring at medium heat.
• Boil your potatoes and carrots (seperately) in the meantime. I prefer to do them in the microwave which is fairly quick.
• When the sauce has begun to thicken, add the potatoes and carrots cut into bite sizes.
• Simmer at low-medium heat.
• Add the bay leaf.
• Taste it, if it's too sour still, add a bit more coke.
• Serve warm over a bed of rice or pasta.

Steps:

• Brown chicken in a little oil on all sides. Place in glass baking dish. Sprinkle soup mix over the chicken. Arrange onion and tomato slices over the top. Pour in coke and bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Serve with rice.

• Place everything in a wide-bottomed pot.
• Cook over low heat until chicken is tender.
• Cook until coke is nearly gone; take care to watch it.
• Remove from heat when coke becomes a sticky sauce.

• Stir together your sauce ingredients, and pour over your chicken pieces in the baking dish.
• (you can choose to leave this in the fridge to marinate a few hours, or go ahead and put it in the oven right away).
• Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour to 1 hour 30-mins depending on the size of pieces you used. (I've never had this burn on to the bottom of a casserole dish.. Around the sides of the pan, the sauce will bubble up a little and carmelize, but everything should come clean with a regular hot water and soap soaking). Feel free to spritz your baking dish with cooking spray though if you've had trouble with things burning on to your pans.
