Chicken Parmesan Stromboli image

Steps:

  • Prepare chicken tenders according to package directions. Preheat oven to 400°. Unroll pizza dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Layer with mozzarella, chicken tenders and Parmesan to within 1/2 in. of edges. Roll up jelly-roll style, starting with a short side; pinch seam to seal and tuck ends under. Combine olive oil, garlic powder, oregano and pepper; brush over top., Bake until crust is dark golden brown, 18-22 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.

Marinara sauce, warmed

Chicken Parmesan Stromboli image

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 400. Season chicken with salt and pepper. In a 12-inch skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat and brown chicken. Remove chicken from skillet and let cool; pull into large shreds.
  • 2. In medium bowl, combine chicken, mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup ragu chunky gardenstyle pasta sauce, parmesan cheese and parsley; set aside.
  • 3. On greased jelly-roll pan, press dough to form 12x10 rectangle. Arrange chicken mixture down center of dough. Cover filling, bringing one long side into center, then overlap with the other long side; pinch seam to seal. Fold in ends and pinch to seal.
  • 4. Arrange on pan, seam side down. Gently press in sides to form 12x4 inch loaf. Bake 35 minutes or until dough is cooked and golden. Cut stromboli into slices. Heat the remaining pasta sauce and serve with stromboli. Makes 6 servings.

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
2 tsp olive or vegetable oil
2 c shredded mozzarella cheese (about 8oz.)
1 jar(s) (28oz.) ragu chunky garden style pasta sauce, divided
2 Tbsp grated parmesan cheese
1 Tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley
1 lb fresh or thawed frozen bread dough

Steps:

  • Place bread, cut side up, on an ungreased baking sheet. Broil 4-6 in. from the heat for 2-3 minutes or until lightly toasted; set aside., In a small skillet, saute chicken in oil and 1 teaspoon butter until no longer pink. Add the mushrooms, salt, garlic powder and pepper; heat through., In a small bowl, combine the sour cream, Parmesan cheese and remaining butter; spread over bread halves. Top with chicken mixture and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Broil for 1-2 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°. Unroll dough on a lightly floured surface. Pat into a 14x12-in. rectangle; sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheeses to within 1/2 in. of edges. Layer with salami, ham and pimientos. , Roll up tightly jelly-roll style, starting from a short side; pinch seam to seal. Place seam side down on an ungreased baking sheet. Brush with butter; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. , Bake until golden brown, 20-25 minutes. Cool on a wire rack for 5 minutes. Cut with a serrated knife. Serve warm. Refrigerate leftovers.
