Creamy Chicken Strudel Recipes

Steps:

• 1. Heat oven to 400. In bowl, combine chicken, asparagus and 3/4 cup alfredo sauce, mix well. Unfold pastry onto lg baking sheet sprayed w/ cooking spray. Spoon chicken mix lngthwise down center of pastry. Cut slits into pastry 1" apart down the side of filling. Braid dough over filling, overlapping. Spray top of dough w/ cooking spray. Bake 25 min, or until golden. In small saucepan, heat remaining alfredo sauce over low heat. Slice the strudel and serve topped w/ remaining alfredo sauce.

• In a large bowl, combine the first 10 ingredients. Unroll crescent dough and place in a greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan; press seams and seal together, forming a 15x12-in. rectangle (dough will hang over edges of pan). , Spread filling lengthwise down the center of the dough. On each long side, cut 1-1/2-in- wide strips 3-1/2-in. into center. Starting at one end, alternate strips, twisting twice and laying at an angle across filling. Seal ends. , Brush dough with egg white; sprinkle with almonds. Bake at 375° for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown. Cut into slices; serve warm.

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350°F
• Unroll 1 can of crescent rolls. Press into bottom of greased 13x9-inch baking dish, without pressing seams together.
• Breat cream cheese, 12/4 cup of the sugar and 1 teaspoons of the vanilla in medium bowl until smooth. Spread over crescent rolls. Misx pie filling, 1 teaspoons cinnamon and remaining 2 teaspoons vanilla. Gently spread over cheese mixture.
• Unroll second can of crescent over fruit. Brush top with melted butter. Top with a mixture of remaining 1/4 cup of sugar, nuts and remaining 1 teaspoons cinnamon.
• Bake 30 minutes or until dough is golden brown. Let stand 10 minutes. Serve warm.
• SUBSTITUTION TIP: Substitute cherry pie filling with apple pie filling. Increase cinnamon used in fruit filling from 1 tsp to 2 teaspoons.
