NO-BAKE CRISPY CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER BALLS RECIPE BY TASTY
Here's what you need: butter, creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, crispy rice cereal, chocolate chunk

Steps:
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, add the butter and peanut butter. Microwave for 1 minute.
- Using a fork, stir together the melted butter and peanut butter until smooth. Microwave additional 20 seconds, as needed.
- Add the powdered sugar and rice cereal to the bowl. Gently mix together until fully incorporated.
- Using your hands, roll the mixture into approximately 30-40 1-inch balls (2 ½ cm). Place them on a wax paper-lined baking sheet and freeze for 15 minutes.
- In a small microwave-safe bowl, add the chocolate chunks. Microwave for 60-75 seconds, stopping to check and stir every 30 seconds.
- Drop the frozen balls in the melted chocolate one at a time, use a fork to roll around to ensure an even coating. Place back on a wax paper-lined baking sheet.
- Garnish with additional rice cereal while the chocolate is still warm. Chill until the chocolate has set.
- Enjoy!

- In a medium bowl, add the melted butter, pretzel crumbs, confectioners' sugar and 1 cup of the peanut butter and stir together until well combined. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of an ungreased 9-by-13-by-2-inch baking dish. Combine the chocolate chips and the remaining 1/4 cup peanut butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate and peanut butter are melted and smooth; two intervals should be enough. Mix to blend, then spread over the peanut butter-pretzel layer. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before cutting into squares.

- In a large bowl, beat peanut butter and butter until blended; gradually beat in confectioners' sugar until smooth. Stir in cereal. Shape into 1-in. balls. Refrigerate until chilled., In a microwave, melt chocolate chips and 1/4 cup shortening; stir until smooth. Dip balls into chocolate; allow excess to drip off. Place on a waxed paper-lined pan. CRISPY CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER PRETZEL BALLS
These are absolutely addictive! Sweet and salty with lots of crunch, and very easy to make. These should probably be stored in the fridge to keep from going soft or you could probably coat in an extra layer of chocolate if you wanted to go through the trouble.

Steps:
- In a double boiler or microwave (on 50 % power, in a large bowl) melt the chocolate and peanut butter. If microwaving, start with a minute and then add additional time (30 secs at a time, mixing in between) until melted. Be careful not to burn the chocolate.
- Mix in the pretzels and rice cereal until everything is coated and well incorporated.
- Drop by the teaspoonful onto a lined cookie sheet and place in the fridge. Once hardened, you can transfer to a bag or container. These are best stored in the fridge.
NO-BAKE PEANUT BUTTER, CHOCOLATE AND PRETZEL BARS
Steps:
- Line an 8- or 9- inch square baking pan with foil.
- Melt 8 tablespoons of the butter and add to a large bowl. Add the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, vanilla and 1 cup of peanut butter and stir until well combined. Transfer the peanut butter mixture to the prepared baking pan and smooth with an offset spatula to create an even layer.
- Combine the chocolate chips, the remaining 4 tablespoons butter and the remaining tablespoon peanut butter in a medium microwave-safe bowl and microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until melted. Alternatively, this can be done over a double boiler. Pour the chocolate mixture over the peanut butter and smooth with an offset spatula. Arrange the pretzel sticks on the surface of the chocolate, pressing them lightly to adhere. Refrigerate until hardened, about 1 1/2 hours. Cut into squares to serve.
CHOCOLATE CRISPY PEANUT BUTTER BALLS
Our family has been making these little guys to add to holiday cookie baskets since 1987. They freeze well, so you can make them early. The recipe's from one of my favorite junior league cookbooks, "Creme de Colorado".

- Combine first 4 ingredients in large bowl and mix well.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls and chill, covered.
- For chocolate coating, melt German and semisweet chocolates, and paraffin wax in top of double boiler over boiling water, stirring constantly until smooth.

- Melt peanut butter and butter in saucepan, over low heat. In large bowl, mix crispy rice cereal and confectioners' sugar well. Pour melted peanut butter and butter over cereal and sugar and blend together thoroughly.
- Form into 1 inch or smaller balls, spread on cookie sheets, chill till firm in refrigerator (over night is okay).
- Melt chocolate in double boiler and keep melted while working with balls. A teaspoon is best to use in dipping the balls in chocolate. Dip good and place on cookie sheet. As you dip them place them back on cookie sheet and keep chilled till firm.

- Line a 13x9-in. baking pan with foil, letting ends extend up sides. Set aside 1-1/2 cups pretzels for topping. Pulse remaining pretzels in a food processor until fine crumbs form. In a large bowl, mix butter, peanut butter, confectioners' sugar and pretzel crumbs., Press into prepared pan. In a microwave, melt chocolate chips and shortening; stir until smooth.
