ROASTED GARLIC
Roasted garlic is great served with bread, crackers or apples. People can peel off a clove of the garlic and literally squeeze the garlic out of it's shell onto their bread or cracker. Delicious!

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Arrange heads of garlic on a baking sheet. Sprinkle garlic with olive oil. Bake for 40 minutes to 1 hour, when the garlic is soft and squeezable, it is ready. Remove, let cool, and serve.

Steps:
- Set oven to 350°F.
- Remove the dry outer paper layer from garlic bulbs and cut off the top 0.5 cm (1/4 inch) of the bulb.
- Place garlic bulbs on individual pieces of aluminum foil and drizzle each bulb with olive oil.
- Wrap bulbs in foil and cook in oven for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
- When the bulbs cool off enough to be handled, just squeeze the garlic cloves out.
- You can make a batch of 4-5 bulbs and keep cloves refrigerated in a closed container for a couple of weeks.

- Preheat the oven to 400F. Slice about 1/2" off the top of the heads of garlic; enough to expose each clove.
- Place a head on a sheet of foil. Drizzle the olive oil over the head of garlic, then sprinkle the salt over top. Wrap the foil to cover the head of garlic completely. Repeat with the other head.
- Place the foil wrapped heads of garlic on a sheet pan and roast for 35-40 minutes, or until the cloves are browned and soft. Let the garlic cool fully, then squeeze the cloves out.
