LAYERED BANANA DESSERT
Trish Schoofs' no-cook banana dessert is old-fashioned comfort food that tastes like you fussed. "This recipe is a real winner at our house," she writes from her West Bend, Wisconsin kitchen. "Not only is it lighter in fat and calories, but it's light on your time, too. Plus, it's a great way to use up bananas."

BANANA CREAM LAYER DESSERT (NO BAKE)
For serious banana lovers only...this is an amazing dessert, one that is quite simple to make. (Note: this can be made a day ahead, and kept refrigerated). Prep time includes chilling time.

Steps:
- Prepare an 11 x 7-inch baking pan.
- in a bowl, mix all crust ingredients.
- Pat lightly into the baking pan.
- Refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Meanwhile, with an electric hand mixer, mix the cream cheese and icing sugar until well blended (about 2 minutes).
- Fold in (do not beat) 2 cups Cool Whip thawed topping.
- Remove the crust from the fridge; spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crust.
- Return back to the fridge.
- (At this point, the dessert may be left covered in the fridge overnight, and the last stage may be finished the next day if desided) Prepare the pudding mix on top of the stove in a heavy-bottomed saucepan, (be careful not to scotch the bottom) or it can be prepared in the microwave, (my prevrence is the microwave, as I always seem to end up with a scortched saucepan bottom) Leave sit in the fridge for 1 hour to thicken and cool.
- After 1 hour, slice the bananas into pieces.
- Remove the dessert from the fridge; place the banana slices evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- Gently spread the prepared pudding over the bananas.
- Top with 2 cups (or more) Cool Whip topping.
- Refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.
- Note: do not replace the pudding and pie filling with instant pudding for this dessert, it will not hold up, and will run all over when the dessert is sliced.

CREAMY LAYERED BANANA-BLUEBERRY DESSERT
This is the most *heavenly* banana dessert! Because of the bananas this is best served the same day it is made. The cream filling can be cooked on top of the stove but to avoid scortching the saucepan I like to cook it in the microwave. Plan ahead the filling needs to chill for 4 hours, prep time includes chilling time. For a less sweeter whipped cream you can reduce or omit the powdered sugar.

FANTASTIC CREAMY LAYERED BANANA DESSERT!
Another dessert recipe from my favorites folder. If desired you can layer this in individual dessert dishes also, but my advise is to crush the vanilla wafers slightly to fit into serving dishes. Because of the bananas turning brown, it is best if made the same day as serving. This can also be served in a square glass dish.

- Elvis’ Pudding Cake. The King of Rock-and-Roll certainly knew how to make a sandwich. Fried peanut butter, bananas, and bacon! If you’ve never tried Elvis Presley’s Favorite Sandwich, I suggest you drop everything and give it a go.
- Banana Cream Pie Muddy Buddies. Also known as puppy chow or monkey munch, muddy buddies are a super-easy sweet snack. This variation combines Chex-Mix, white chocolate, condensed milk, and banana pudding mix.
- Double Chocolate Banana Bars. I like to pretend that using whole wheat flour in recipes makes them acceptable for breakfast. And with the number of bananas in this recipe, it’s almost healthy…
- Easy Banana Magic Cake. Magic cakes are pretty impressive. They separate into three distinct and delicious layers when baked. Just make sure you whip your egg whites to stiff peaks and don’t panic when your batter looks thin.
- Pan-Fried Honey Bananas. These sweet bites are a fun little treat and take less than 5 minutes to whip up. Combine the honey with a little butter or oil and a pinch of cinnamon before adding in your sliced bananas.
