Cute holiday snowmen made with marshmallows and decorated with fruit snacks.

Fruity Snowmen image

Steps:

  • Place 2 marshmallows on each stick, using frosting to hold together. Decorate each snowman, using frosting to attach candy eyes; orange Betty Crocker Fruit Gusher for nose; pretzels for arms.
  • Unroll and remove paper from Betty Crocker Fruit Roll-Ups to cover candies and stick on top of each for hat; unroll and remove paper from Betty Crocker Fruit by the Foot. Cut with kitchen scissor lengthwise. Wrap around snowman to look like scarf.

M&M'S Snowman image

Steps:

  • Beat three 8-ounce packages cream cheese and 1 stick butter (both at room temperature) with a mixer until creamy. Beat in 1 cup confectioners' sugar, 2 teaspoons vanilla and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Divide into 3 balls (large, medium and small) and wrap each in plastic wrap. Chill 2 hours, then roll in unsweetened shredded coconut and stack the snowman. Add brown mini M&M'S for the eyes, mouth and buttons, and red and green M&M'S for the nose and scarf (attach with icing, if necessary). Add pretzel arms. Serve with fruit or cookies.

Snowman Cookies image

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, cream butter, cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and extracts. In another bowl, whisk flour and baking powder; gradually beat into creamed mixture. Refrigerate, covered, overnight., Preheat oven to 325°. Shape dough into forty-eight 1-in. balls, forty-eight 3/4-in. balls and forty-eight 1/2-in. balls. On ungreased baking sheets, place one ball of each size, side by side, for each snowman., Bake 18-20 minutes or until light brown. Remove from oven; cool on pans 2 minutes. Press on chocolate chips for eyes and M&M's for buttons. Carefully remove from pans to wire racks to cool completely., For frosting, in a small bowl, beat confectioners' sugar, extract and enough milk to reach a piping consistency. If two colors of frosting are desired, transfer half of the frosting to another bowl and tint each with a different food coloring., Cut a small hole in a corner of a food-safe plastic bag; fill with frosting. Pipe scarves on snowmen. Use frosting to attach chocolate kisses for hats.

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine the butter, corn syrup, extract and salt. Gradually stir in confectioners' sugar. Knead by hand until mixture becomes pliable, 1-2 minutes., For each color of dough, combine 1 tablespoon of dough and food coloring; knead until blended. Leave remaining dough white. Roll white dough into a log; remove a fourth of the log and set aside., For the snowmen's bodies, divide the remaining log into 9 pieces and roll into balls. For the snowmen's heads, divide the reserved dough into 9 pieces and roll into balls. Stack 1 smaller ball on top of each larger ball. , Use the colored dough to form hats, scarves and earmuffs as desired. Use candies to make eyes, noses and buttons.

  • Dip a pretzel rod two-thirds of the way into melted white chocolate, or drizzle chocolate over pretzel with a spoon. Attach miniature chocolate chips for eyes and buttons; attach a sprinkle for a nose., Using decorating gel, add a mouth. , For hat, attach a chocolate kiss to the top of pretzel. Sprinkle snowman with nonpareils. Carefully stand snowman upright in a tall glass or press the bottom of the pretzel rod into a 2-in.-thick piece of Styrofoam. For scarve, cut fruit rolls into thin strips; tie around snowmen.
