GRANDMA'S CORN BREAD DRESSING
My grandmother often made this for my family at holidays and also just with good homemade meals. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have!

Steps:
- Prepare the dry corn bread mix according to package directions. Cool and crumble.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease one 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and saute the celery and onion until soft.
- In a large bowl, combine the celery, onions, 3 cups crumbled corn bread, eggs, chicken stock, sage and salt and pepper to taste; mix well.
- Place into prepared dish and bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 minutes.

GRANDMA WOOLLEY'S SALAD DRESSING
This is the dressing I use for holidays and for company. It is delicious on any type of lettuce salad. It is so tasty, I could drink it. Remember to prepare this the day before using. That way the flavors marry.

- Add all ingredients. Blend until sugar is dissolved.
- Best when made the day before and stored, covered, in your fridge.
- Double, triple, etc. until you get the serving size you want. This all depends on the size salad you are serving.
- Right before serving, pour onto your salad and toss, then serve.

- In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, flour, mustard and salt. Stir in egg until smooth. Gradually add vinegar and water. Cook and stir over medium heat for 3 minutes or until mixture reaches at least 160° and coats the back of a metal spoon. , Remove from the heat; stir in butter. Let stand for 5 minutes. This dressing was a favorite of mine when I was growing up in my Grandmothers house. I have made this several times for my salads. It holds up for about 3 weeks in the frig.

- Mix 4 cups of salad oil with 2 cups of vinegar.
- Add 1 large can of tomato soup.
- Add 2 cups of sugar.
- Add 4 Tablespoons of prepared yellow mustard, mix thoroughly.
- Then add salt and pepper, parsley, onion powder and celery seed to taste.
- Refrigerate until you are ready to use, and then serve over your favorite salad.

GREAT GRANDMA'S SALAD DRESSING
An old fashioned boiled dressing, this is my family's dressing for tuna and potato salad. We used to make it in a double boiler, but with a microwave the cooking is really simple!

- Mix all dry ingredients in a microwave safe bowl, making sure lumps are out of the mustard.
- Beat in egg and liquid until smooth.
- Microwave on medium for 3 minutes, whisk. Microwave again for 2 minutes, whisk.
- When dressing is the consistency you like (don't overcook it), you can add the optional butter, but I no longer do.
- chill and use with tuna salad or potato salad.

GRANDMA’S OLD FASHIONED BOILED DRESSING

- In the bottom of a double boiler (medium saucepan) add 1” of water and turn the heat to medium.
- In the top bowl of the double boiler (glass bowl that can rest slightly in the saucepan but not touch the water) add the mustard powder, sugar, salt, flour and water. Whisk to combine.
- In a small bowl whisk together the egg yolks and vinegar. Pour that into the water mixture and whisk.
- Place the bowl on top of the double boiler and keep whisking until the mixture thickens and can coat the back of a spoon. 8-10 minutes.
