Easy grilled tuna that tastes great, and really brings out the flavor of fresh tuna! Only 2 ingredients! Great for bachelors and beginners!

Easy Grilled Tuna image

Steps:

  • Place tuna steaks with Italian dressing in a bowl, coating both sides; marinate in refrigerator for 20 minutes.
  • Preheat outdoor grill for medium-high heat, and lightly oil the grate.
  • Grill tuna on the preheated grill until tuna lightens in color but retains a thin line of pink in the center, about 5 minutes on each side.

  • 1. To prepare olive relish: Combine parsley, olives, celery, garlic, oregano, lemon juice, oil, salt and pepper in a small bowl.
  • 2. To grill tuna: Preheat grill to medium-high.
  • 3. Rub tuna all over with oil and season with salt and pepper. Grill the tuna until seared on both sides and just cooked through, about 4 minutes per side. Serve with Olive Relish and lemon wedges.

Steps:

  • Combine mayonnaise, vinegar, olive oil, anchovy fillets, shallots, in a blender and blend until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Combine peppers, olives, garlic, thyme, parsley, vinegar, and honey in a mixing bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve at room temperature. Preheat grill. Brush tuna with olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste. Grill rare to medium rare. Drizzle with vinaigrette and top with relish.

Steps:

  • Mix together the oranges, fennel, scallion, currants, vinegar and honey in a medium bowl. Season with salt and pepper and let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes. Preheat grill. Rub each tuna steak on both sides with the mint leaves and brush with the olive oil. Season with salt and pepper and grill for 2 minutes on each side for rare or longer for desired doneness.

Here, grilled tuna is smothered with a mixture of flavorful herbs, made more potent by the addition of chopped olives and a little raw garlic. Grilled Tuna With Herbs and Olives image

Steps:

  • Start a charcoal or gas grill; fire should be medium-high and rack about 4 inches from heat source.
  • When fire is ready, rub tuna lightly with olive oil, then sprinkle it with salt and pepper. Put it on grill and grill about 3 to 4 minutes a side for medium-rare, more or less according to your desired degree of doneness.
  • Meanwhile, combine olives, herbs, garlic if you are using it and just enough oil to moisten and bind the mixture, no more than a tablespoon.
  • When tuna is done, spread a portion of herb mixture on 1 side of each steak and serve with lemon wedges.
