Steps:
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease 13x9x2 inch baking pan.
- Melt butter in microwave.
- Stir in sugar and vanilla.
- Beat in eggs, one at a time.
- Add cocoa, flour, baking powder and salt; beat until well blended.
- Stir in nuts, if desired.
- Pour batter into pan.
- Bake 30-35 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides.
- Cool completely.

HERSHEY'S BEST BROWNIES (9-INCH SQUARE)
This was really good made with dark cocoa. I sprayed the pan with non-stick spray then lined the bottom only with sprayed parchment paper cut to fit the bottom of the pan, which made it so easy to remove the brownies from the pan.

- Heat oven to 350°F Grease 9-inch square baking pan.
- Stir together butter, sugar and vanilla in bowl. Add eggs; beat well with spoon.
- Stir together flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; gradually add to egg mixture, beating until well blended. Stir in nuts, if desired. Spread batter evenly in prepared pan.
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Prepare CREAMY BROWNIE FROSTING; spread over brownies.
- Cut into squares. About 16 brownies.

Add eggs, one at a time, beating well with spoon after each addition. Add cocoa; beat until well blended. Add flour, baking powder and salt; beat well. Stir in nuts, if desired. Pour batter into prepared pan or pans.
- Bake 30 to 35 minutes for 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan (20 to 22 minutes for 8- or 9-inch pans) or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Prepare and frost brownie with Creamy Brownie Frosting, if desired. Garnish frosted brownies with milk chocolate chips, if desired. Cut into bars.

- Combine sugar, butter and water in medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, just until mixture boils. Remove from heat. Immediately add chocolate chips; stir until melted. Add eggs; beat with spoon until well blended.
- Stir together flour, baking soda and salt; add to chocolate mixture, stirring until well blended. Stir in vanilla and nuts, if desired; pour into prepared pie plate.
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until almost set. (Pie will not test done in center). Cool. Prepare Fudge Sauce, if desired. Top pie with scoops of ice cream and prepared sauce.
