Holiday Gelatin Salad Recipes

Steps:

• In a large bowl, pour 1 cup boiling water over the gelatin mix. Stir until dissolved, then stir in 1/2 cup pineapple juice. Refrigerate until thickened but not set, about 1 hour.
• Meanwhile, place crushed pineapple and remaining juice in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat, and cool to room temperature.
• In a large bowl, blend softened cream cheese and lime gelatin until smooth. Mix in the cooled pineapple. In a medium bowl, whip cream until soft peaks form. Fold into gelatin mixture. Fold in chopped nuts. Pour into a pretty crystal bowl, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.

Pour into a 13-in. x 9-in. dish; refrigerate until firm but not set, about 1 hour., In a large bowl, dissolve lemon gelatin in 1 cup boiling water. Stir in marshmallows until melted. Cool for 20 minutes. In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and mayonnaise until smooth. Gradually beat in lemon gelatin. Stir in pineapple. Carefully spoon over the lime layer. Chill until firm but not set. , Dissolve cherry gelatin in 2 cups boiling water. Add remaining cold water; stir. Spoon over the lemon layer. Refrigerate entire gelatin salad overnight. Cut into squares to serve.

• 1. In a large bowl dissolve the gelatin with the hot water. Stir until dissolved. Add the can of crushed pineapple and can of whole berry cranberry sauce, stir thoroughly. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Now add the red grapes and blueberries and stir to mix ingredients.
• 2. Pour into a serving bowl and refrigerate until set. Or pour into a large mold. I prefer a pretty glass bowl.
