Oreo Triple Layer Chocolate Pie Recipes

Steps:

• Beat pudding mixes and milk in large bowl with whisk 2 min. (Pudding will be thick.)
• Spread 1-1/2 cups pudding onto bottom of crust. Stir half the COOL WHIP into remaining pudding; spread over layer in crust. Top with remaining COOL WHIP.
• Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm.

• Finely crush 24 cookies; mix with butter. Press onto bottom and up side of 9-inch pie plate. Beat pudding mixes and milk with whisk 2 min. Spoon 1 1/2 cups pudding into crust. Cook mixture over medium heat, whisking constantly, until it has thickened and just come up to a low boil, about 8 to 9 minutes. Continue to cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute.
• Pour custard through sieve, pushing it through with a rubber spatula. Discard any solids. Stir in chocolate, butter and vanilla, and let it stand for 1 minute. Stir until smooth. Pour mixture into prepared crust. Let cool slightly, then cover loosely with plastic wrap and chill until firm, at least 6 hours.
• To serve, whip cream and confectioners' sugar until soft peaks form. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with crushed Oreos, if using.

• 1. Mix 2 cups crushed oreos and butter; press into the bottom and up the sides of Grandma Bonnie's Pie Plate. Pour milk into large bowl. Add pudding mixes and beat with wire whisk for 2 minutes (mixture will be thick). Spoon 1 1/2 cup of pudding into the prepared crust. Gently stir 1/2 of the cool whip into the remaining pudding. Spread this mixture over the pudding already in the crust. Stir chopped oreos into the remaining cool whip and then spread it over the pudding mixture. Refrigerate for 4 hours or until set. Garnish as desired.
