Holiday Hot Buttered Rum Batter Recipes

Steps:

• Cream butter and sugars until smooth. Beat in vanilla and ice cream. Store in freezer containers in freezer. To prepare buttered rum drink: Place 1/4 cup butter mixture in a 10- or 12-ounce mug. Stir in boiling water and rum. Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg to taste.

Steps:

• Using an electric mixer, beat the brown sugar, butter, honey, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt in a medium bowl until blended and smooth. Transfer the mixture to a 4-cup (or larger) measuring cup. Add the rum and then 2 cups of boiling water. Stir until the butter mixture dissolves. Divide the buttered rum among 4 mugs. Garnish with the cinnamon sticks and serve.

Steps:

• Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Blend in brown sugar and confectioners' sugar. Remove from heat, and whisk in the ice cream, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Pour mixture into a plastic container, seal, and freeze.
• In a coffee mug, measure 1 tablespoon Hot Buttered Rum Batter and 1 fluid ounce of rum, then fill cup with boiling water. Stir, and sprinkle top of drink with nutmeg.

Steps:

• Combine butter, brown sugar, and white sugar in a 2-quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until mixture comes to a boil and sugars dissolve, 6 to 8 minutes.
• Mix hot butter mixture into ice cream in a large bowl.
• Fill each mug with 3/4 cup boiling water, 1/4 cup ice cream mixture, and 2 tablespoons rum. Sprinkle nutmeg on top.

• Add a jigger of rum and 2 Tbs coffee creamer.
• Fill cup with hot water.
