- In a blender, combine the ice cream, milk, malted milk powder and chocolate syrup; cover and process until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses. Top with a dollop of whipped cream; serve immediately.

- In the top half of a double boiler, combine the 2 chocolates over simmering water. Stir constantly until melted, then whisk in the corn syrup and water. Whisk until smooth and shiny.
- Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
OLD-FASHIONED CHOCOLATE OR VANILLA MALTED
The Walgreen drugstore chain popularized this soda-fountain drink in the 1930s under the name "Horlick's Malted Milk". You can make this warm-weather favorite with either whole milk and ice cream or low-fat milk and frozen yogurt. For adults, toss a shot of Kahlua or brandy into the blender for a tasty treat.

Steps:
- Pour ingredients into a sifter.
- Sift ingredients well.
- Give a little stir with a whisk or a fork to make sure it is combined well.
- Store in an air tight container in a cool, dry place.
- To make milk: mix 8oz cold milk with 3 tbs of mix. It will resist blending and try to be clumpy. Use a magic bullet, blender, or hand held whipper/frother to help this blend together smoothly if clumps are bothersome.
- To make hot milk: mix 8oz hot milk with 3tbs of mix. Stir well.

- Heat oven to 350°F. Grease bottom and sides of rectangular pan, 13x9x2 inches.
- Melt milk chocolate and butter in 3-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently; remove from heat. Cool slightly. Mix in sugar, vanilla and eggs. Stir in remaining ingredients except malted milk balls.
- Spread batter in pan. Sprinkle with malted milk balls.
- Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean; cool. For 48 brownies, cut into 8 rows by 6 rows.
