HONEY GARLIC BBQ SAUCE
Awesome with veggies! To keep this sauce vegetarian, use vegetarian Worcestershire sauce, as the normal sauce contains anchovies.

HONEY-GARLIC BARBECUE SAUCE
If you are using this as a tenderizer/marinade then mix in 3 teaspoons powdered meat tenderizer, I use Club House brand but any kind will do. Plan ahead this must be refrigerated for a minimum of 24 hours before using. If you prefer a sweeter sauce then increase brown sugar to taste, if desired you may adjust all ingredients to suit taste. Use 1 tablespoon seasoned salt for this (I use Lawry's seasoned salt) and white salt to season at the end of cooking if necessary. This is great on chicken and ribs!

- Whisk everything together well to combine, and to continue to whisk almost constantly (but not vigorously) as the mixture heats up and begins to bubble.
- Once the mixture reached a hard boil, reduce the heat to low and continue whisking until the sauce is thick, glossy and dark in colour (it will thicken and darken as it cooks and reduces).
- Once the sugar granules have dissolved and the sauce is thick, glossy and dark in colour, remove it from the heat and transfer it to a heat-safe glass jar or container. Let cool to room temperature before storing in the fridge and using on all your favourite barbecued meats.
