STICKY HONEY CHICKEN WINGS

Steps:
- Combine honey, vinegar, paprika, salt and pepper in a small bowl., Cut through the 2 wing joints with a sharp knife, discarding wing tips. Add remaining wing pieces and honey mixture to a large bowl; stir to coat. Cover and refrigerate 4 hours or overnight., Preheat oven to 375°. Remove wings; reserve honey mixture. Place wings on greased 15x10x1-in. baking pans. Bake until juices run clear, about 30 minutes, turning halfway through., Meanwhile, place reserved honey mixture in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil; cook 1 minute., Remove wings from oven; preheat broiler. Place wings on a greased rack in a broiler pan; brush with honey mixture. Broil 4-5 in. from heat until crispy, about 3-5 minutes. Serve with remaining honey mixture.

HOT HONEY-GLAZED WINGS
These sticky wings make for a fun way to enjoy the gentle heat and balanced sweet of the hot honey glaze. The extra crunchy batter clings to the wings and is a great base for this snack.

Steps:
- In a bowl, combine the flour, 2 teaspoons salt, the onion powder, garlic powder and cayenne pepper. Add the chicken wings and toss to coat.
- Heat 2 inches of vegetable oil in a pot until it registers 350˚ F on a deep-fry thermometer. Working in batches, add the wings and fry until browned, 8 to 12 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on a rack set on a baking sheet.
- Whisk the melted butter, hot honey, vinegar and red pepper flakes in a large bowl. Add the wings and toss to coat.
CHICKEN WINGS WITH RED HOT HONEY GLAZE AND BLUE CHEESE-CELERY DIPPING SAUCE
Steps:
- For the wings:
- Heat grill to medium-high.
- Combine the hot sauce, honey and butter in a small saucepan and cook over medium heat until the butter is melted and the mixture comes together, about 5 minutes. Stir in the vinegar and season with salt and pepper. Pour half of the sauce in a bowl and keep the remaining sauce in the pan, warm over low heat.
- Season the wings on both sides with the salt and pepper. Brush the wings with the reserved sauce in the bowl and place on the grill. Grill on each side for 5 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove wings from the grill and toss with the warm hot sauce. Transfer to a platter and serve with the blue cheese sauce on the side for dipping.
- For the blue cheese-celery dipping sauce:
- Whisk together all ingredients in a medium bowl and season with salt and pepper. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
HOT 'N' HONEYED CHICKEN WINGS
Steps:
- grate orange and set aside. Cut off and discard wing tips. cut each wing in half at joint. Place chicken wings in 13/9 inch baking dish. Combine picante sauce, honey, soy sauce, mustard, oil, ginger and orange peel in small bowl; mix well. Pour over chicken wings Marinate covered in refrigerator at least 6 hours or overnight Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Drain marinade; reserve. Place chicken wings in single layer on foil lined, 15 x 10 inch jelly roll pan. Pour reserved marinade evenly over chicken wings. Bake 40 to 45 minutes until brown. Serve warm.
HOT-N-HONEYED CHICKEN WINGS
Haven't made these in years, in fact, I had forgotten all about them, ran across some long lost recipes the other day and found this little treasure! As soon as I make them again, I will be sure to post a picture. These will be on our Super Bowl buffet table for sure!

- 1. Cut off and discard wing tips, cut each wing in half at joint. (If using frozen wings in a bag..this step should already be done for you). If using frozen..be sure to thaw first.
- 2. Place all the wings in a 13x9 inch baking dish. Combine 3/4 cup picante sauce, honey, soy sauce, mustard, oil, ginger and orange peel in small bowl; mix well. Pour over chicken wings. Cover and refrigerate at least 6 hours or overnight.
- 3. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Place chicken wings and sauce in single layer on foil-lined 15x10 inch jelly roll pan. Bake 40-45 minutes or until brown. Serve warm w/additional picante sauce.
HOT 'N HONEYED CHICKEN WINGS
This requires at least six hours to marinate (overnight is best). The first time I tried this recipe, I didn't have picante sauce. I used red tomato chow-chow, added some garlic and hot sauce, and put it in the blender for a second or two. Worked really well.

- Cut chicken wings into three sections; discard wing tip section. Set wings aside. In a small saucepan, combine the honey, soy sauce, oil, chili sauce, salt, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce and ginger. Cook and stir until blended and heated through. Cool to room temperature. , Place the chicken wings in a large resealable plastic bag; add honey mixture. Seal bag and turn to coat. Refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight., Drain and discard marinade. Place wings in a well-greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan. Bake, uncovered, at 375° for 30 minutes. Drain; turn wings. - Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat and lightly oil grate.
- Wash the wings well and pat dry with paper towel. Season the meat with cayenne, salt, and pepper.
- Cook the chicken wings on preheated grill until cooked through and juices run clear, 20 to 30 minutes depending on the size of the wings. Brush the wings liberally using 1/2 cup of honey while they are cooking.
- Melt the butter, pour into a large bowl and mix in the remaining 1/2 cup of honey and hot sauce. Remove the wings from the grill and immediately toss them in the hot honey butter sauce to coat. Serve the wings 'wet' or return them to the grill for 1 minute per side to set the sauce.
