CREAMY GARLIC SAUCE
This sauce is great on steak and chips. We have it a lot through the summer in Australia. Serve with a nice crisp salad makes a wonderful meal. Dried parsley may be used in place of the fresh.

Steps:
- Pour half of the water into a saucepan, and bring to a boil over medium heat. Add the garlic and garlic powder, and boil until the water has almost evaporated, about 5 minutes. Stir in the heavy cream, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix the cornstarch with the remaining water, and stir into the sauce. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened, about 3 minutes.

Steps:
- Peel one complete head of garlic and place peeled cloves into a blender.
- (A normal head will produce 10-15 cloves.) Pour in oil and blend on high until cloves appear to be blended well into oil.
- Pour in the lemon juice and salt and blend for 30 seconds until ingredients are well blended.
- Use a rubber spatula to mix well and repeat the blending until satisfied that it is blended enough.
- Can be kept refrigerated up to 2-3 weeks in an air tight container.

JO'S BAKED GARLIC SOUP
This recipe is from The Garlic Lovers' Cookbook. A lady named Jo Stallard won first place at the Gilroy Garlic Festival back in 1980 with this recipe. I am listing the recipe as it appears in the cookbook. I have seen this recipe around the 'net, however, one key ingredient is being left out: Paprika. I think it makes a big difference in the flavor. I make it exactly as written, with the following substitutions: I use a can of Northern beans instead of garbanzo, I use red bell pepper instead of green, and I use fat free half and half instead of whipping cream. It is the most delicious soup I have ever tasted! I make it at least once a week. Great way to get your family to eat their veggies!

Steps:
- Butter the inside of a 3 quart baking dish.
- Combine all ingredients, except cheeses and cream in dish.
- At this point, it will look like a huge veggie casserole.
- Cover and bake for 1 hour at 375 degrees.
- Add cheeses and cream and stir.
- Lower oven temperature to 325 degrees.
- Return to oven and bake 10 to 15 minutes longer, until cheese is melted.
- Do not allow to Boil.
- I usually serve this with garlic bread.
- If you plan to freeze this, do not add the cheese and cream. Save that step after you have reheated the frozen soup.

QUICK AND EASY GARLIC SAUCE
Instead of buying a bottle that will sit in the fridge for ages and takes up space. I find it easier to make my own garlic sauce for when I eat falafel. It is a lot cheaper as well. Also you can adapt it to your own taste. it is very easy to make and takes up no time.

Steps:
- Mix all the ingredients together in a small bowl and it is ready to serve.
- The more garlic you use the sharper the sauce gets.
- If you make a larger quantity I would advise you to use fresh parsley (this also helps against the inevitable garlic breath).
PAPA JOHN'S STYLE GARLIC BUTTER SAUCE
Steps:
- Bring 1 Tbsp. water to a boil in a small saucepan, then reduce to a simmer. Add cubes of butter one at a time, whisking after each addition, until melted and emulsified. Whisk in salt and garlic powder. Serve immediately or keep warm over low heat.
