This zesty slush filled with refreshing flavors of kiwi, lime and rum is the perfect beverage to serve at your next get-together.

Kiwi-Lime-Rum Slush image

Steps:

Puree kiwi fruit in blender. Place strainer over small bowl. With back of spoon, press fruit through strainer to remove seeds.
In same blender container, mix fruit puree, 12 oz. carbonated beverage, margarita mix concentrate and rum; cover and blend at low speed until mixed. Pour into nonmetal container. Cover; freeze at least 24 hours or until firm.
For each serving, spoon 1/3 cup slush mixture into glass; add 2/3 cup carbonated beverage. Or spoon slush mixture into large punch bowl; add 2 liters carbonated beverage. Stir gently. Garnish glasses or punch bowl with lime slices.

Fresh lime slices, if desired

Steps:

In a Dutch oven, bring water to a boil. Remove from the heat; add tea bags. Cover and steep for 3-5 minutes. Discard tea bags. Stir in the limeade concentrate, sugar and rum. , Transfer to a 4-qt. freezer container; cool. Cover and freeze for 6 hours or overnight., To use frozen limeade mixture: Combine the limeade mixture and soda in a 4-qt. pitcher. Or for 1 serving, combine 1/2 cup limeade mixture and 1/4 cup soda in a glass. If desired, garnish with lime slices. Serve immediately.
