LEMON CREAM DRESSING (RAW VEGAN)

(LFRV) Oh I love this dressing!!! I've had it three nights in a row and I'm thinking about it right now. I pour this over baby greens, celery, cucumbers, and shredded red cabbage and I think its quite magical!! This recipe is for one serving so multiple as needed. You could easily add any herbs or spices you want but this is perfect for me!

Lemon Cream Dressing (Raw Vegan) image

Steps:

  • I don't juice the lemon - instead I just slice it up minus the peel and throw it in a super small food processor (blender works as well), blend it all up, and pour over the salad!
  • Sometimes my date isn't even blended all the way in and it really doesn't matter - still delicious!

1 dates, soaked (or not but chopped a bit)
1/2 lemon, juice
1 tablespoon tahini
2 tablespoons water (more or less depending how fluid you want it)

LEMON VINAIGRETTE DRESSING

This vibrant dressing requires extra-virgin olive oil, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and fresh oregano. Toss it with baby greens for a cooling side dish salad. Or, use torn romaine lettuce and add tomato chunks, chopped cucumber, crumbled feta cheese, and sliced olives to make the salad more substantial. I got this recipe from a local news television channel.

Lemon Vinaigrette Dressing image

Steps:

  • Whisk together all of the ingredients in a small bowl, making certain the sugar is dissolved. Adjust the seasonings to taste.
  • Let sit for an hour or so, and then whisk again before serving.

1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
2 teaspoons minced fresh oregano (or 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano)
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper (to taste)
1/8 teaspoon salt (to taste)

LEMON DRESSING

This is an Australian recipe for lemony salad dressing. Substitute fresh lemon thyme or 2 teaspoons lemon juice for lemon peel if you'd rather not use fresh peel.
