PEPPERMINT PATTY FONDUE
I realize that a two-ingredient recipe is almost too simple to post, but this was so darn good and such a hit at a party, that I just had to post. Please do not omit the last important step - it makes this recipe a winner!

Steps:
- Coarsely chop candies.
- Place candies in a medium saucepan and add milk.
- Warm over low heat until candies are melted, stirring frequently.
- Keep warm for dipping.
- Important: Serve with OzMartha's Butter Cookies#37986- this combination is to die for!

Steps:
- Combine the cream and sugar in saucepan; heat gently until almost boiling.
- Blend cornflour smoothly with 1 tablespoon water; add to cream and continue to heat.
- Stir constantly, until thickened.
- Add peppermint extract, then pour into a fondue pot.
- Chop cake into cubes; dip into fondue.
