Pizza Licious Hot Dog Pizza Recipes

Steps:

• Preheat the oven to 450˚ F. Coat a baking sheet with cooking spray. Divide the pizza dough into 6 equal pieces. Roll each piece of dough into a long, thin rope about four times the length of a hot dog.
• Slice each piece of string cheese in half lengthwise. Slice each hot dog lengthwise, making sure not to cut all the way through. Place 1 piece of cheese in each sliced hot dog.
• Wind a rope of pizza dough around a hot dog from one end to the other. Repeat with the remaining hot dogs and pizza dough.
• Place the wrapped hot dogs on the prepared pan. Bake until the dough is golden brown, 15 to 18 minutes.

• Preheat oven to 425°. Unroll and press dough into bottom of a greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan. Bake until edges are lightly browned, 5-7 minutes., Spread with mustard; top with chili, hot dogs and cheese. Bake until crust is golden and cheese is melted, 10-15 minutes. Tightly roll the dough from the hot dog side to the egg wash side and press down on the seam to seal it. Pinch the top and bottom of the pocket closed and tuck the dough under. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and continue with the remaining ingredients, including cutting the second sheet of puff pastry to wrap the remaining hot dogs.
• Prick the wrapped hot dogs with a fork 3 times diagonally along the length of each, then brush with the egg wash. Sprinkle each with about 3/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning and 1 1/2 teaspoons Parmesan.
• Bake until puffed and golden brown, about 25 minutes. Allow to cool 10 minutes before serving with extra pizza sauce on the side.
