Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Put potatoes, onions and Canadian bacon in large roasting pan.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the flour.
- Then toss all together to evenly distribute the items together.
- Pour milk into roasting pan until it get to be about 3/4 up the way to the potatoes.
- Dot with the Shedd Spread Country Crock.
- Bake in the over for about and hour or until looks like it is almost absorbed all the milk.
- Then top with Swiss cheese. Bake again till it is all melted.
- Let sit outside of oven for about 15 minutes.
- Serve with nice salad.
- Enjoy.

Steps:
- Melt the butter in a large saucepan and throw in the potatoes and some seasoning. Colour gently all over for 10 mins or so.
- When the potatoes are nicely golden, add the bay leaves and milk, making sure potatoes are covered. Gently simmer for 20 mins until the potatoes are cooked through. Turn off the heat and leave to infuse in the milk until ready to serve. Drain and serve.

- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the potatoes in the hot oil until browned on all sides, about 10 minutes. Remove from skillet and reserve.
- Reduce the heat to medium, and cook the onions in the skillet until translucent, 2 to 4 minutes. Stir the garlic, ginger, turmeric, cumin seeds, and salt and pepper into the onions. Cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Return the potatoes to the skillet and cook until almost done, about 15 minutes.
- Pour the coconut milk over the potatoes; stir in the tomato puree and chopped parsley. Cook until potatoes are cooked through and sauce has thickened, about 5 additional minutes.

This is the way my mother always made her scalloped potatoes. The measurements are taken from other recipes because she always just winged it, but the method is the same. The key is to heat the milk first!

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Spread about 1/3 of the potato slices into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Top with about 1/3 of the onion slices. Sprinkle 3 tablespoons flour over the potato and onion. Arrange 2 tablespoons butter atop the flour. Season the entire layer with salt and pepper. Repeat layering twice more.
- Heat milk in a saucepan until warm. Pour enough warm milk over the mixture in the baking dish so the top of the liquid is level with the final layer of potatoes.
- Bake in preheated oven until potatoes are tender, 45 to 60 minutes.
