STAGHORN SUMAC JELLY image

Steps:

  • 1. Take berries off of stems. Boil water. Turn off heat. Soak berries in cloth sac for 10 minutes. Ring out sack in pan used for boiling. 2. Add suregel, bring to boil. Add stir in sugar and bring to rolling boil. Stir for 1 more mintue 3. Skim off extra suregel. Pour into jars. Cap 1/2 hour later.

2 1/2 cups of berries
2 1/2 cups water
1 package of suregel
2 cups of sugar
cloth sack
