ALL-AROUND SEASONING MIX

I always keep this all-purpose seasoning mixture on hand. It's good on anything, especially grilled pork, chicken and vegetables. We've developed a taste for heat, and this does supply some. -Greg Fontenot, The Woodlands, Texas

All-Around Seasoning Mix image

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine all ingredients. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to 6 months.

3 tablespoons cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons white pepper
2 tablespoons pepper
4 teaspoons salt
4 teaspoons dried thyme
4 teaspoons dried oregano
4 teaspoons ground cumin
4 teaspoons chili powder

SALAD SUPREME SEASONING

This is a copycat recipe for Schilling Salad Supreme. Use the entire recipe if making Mysterygirl's Linguini Salad in place of the 1/2 a jar that is called for in the recipe. It would be good mixed with italian dressing on vegetables too.

  • 2. SUPER SALAD SEASONING MIX makes - 1.Sprinkled topping over tossed green salads. 2.Baked potatoes, and buttered French bread or rolls, before toasting. 3.Garnish for potato salads, macaroni or egg salads. 4.Sour cream dip made with 2 Tablespoons mix and 1 cup sour cream.
