HEAVENLY RICE HASH DESSERT
A combination of rice, fruit, marshmallows and cream, this is traditional Swedish dessert and is a favorite at our house- my kids loved this growing up and still do!

- 1. Combine marshmallows, rice, fruit and nuts. Whip cream, gradually adding sugar and vanilla; fold into rice mixture. Chill.
GLORIFIED RICE
Serve this sweet, colorful rice dessert with your next holiday meal! Rice is combined with crushed pineapple, mini marshmallows and whipped cream, topped with a maraschino cherry.

Steps:
- In a saucepan bring 2 cups water to a boil. Add rice and stir. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
- In a large bowl combine the cooked, cooled rice, sugar, pineapple and marshmallows. Fold in the whipped cream. Chill for 4 hours.
- Spoon the rice mixture into 6 dessert dishes and place a cherry on top of each.

Steps:
- In a large bowl, combine the rice, pecans and a third of the cream cheese. Spread into a greased 13x9-in. dish. Refrigerate for 30 minutes; spread with pie filling. Refrigerate for 15 minutes. , In a bowl, combine confectioners' sugar and remaining cream cheese. Fold in half of whipped topping; spread over pie filling. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. , In a bowl, whisk the milk, extract and pudding mix for 2 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes or until soft-set. Pour over top; refrigerate for 30 minutes. Spread with the remaining whipped topping; sprinkle with coconut.
