Steps:

• If you're going to use Oreos double stuffed cookies, make sure you scrap half the cookies of their cream. Once crushed, line the bottom of a 13x9 casserole dish with the crushed cookies evenly. Drizzle the melted butter over the crushed cookies. Set in the refrigerator.
• Mix the neufchatel cheese, milk, and sugar until well blended and smooth. Mix in 2 cups of whipped topping and spread the filling evenly over the cookie crust and return to the frig.
• Mix the remaining milk and pudding mix together and pour over the filling. Return to the frig.
• Spread remaining whipped topping over the pudding, sprinkle with your choice of topping(s) and return to frig. Let set for 1 hour. Enjoy.

• This recipe is all about the art of layering and chilling in the fridge so the magic can happen. The magic being that the cookies soften to create a delicious and sinful dessert. I began by spreading Lorna Doone cookies along the bottom of an 8x8 glass dish. Next, a layer of pudding, then cool whip and caramel. Now, I snuck on a layer of crushed Heath Bar candies. For round two, I placed a layer of Chips Ahoy, the rest of the pudding, more cream, caramel. Keep repeating until you reach the top! Top it off with more caramel and chill 6 hours or overnight!
