Steps:
- Combine 1-1/2 cups flour, undissolved yeast, sugar, salt and garlic powder in a large mixer bowl. Heat water, milk and butter until very warm (120 degrees F to 130 degrees F). Add to dry ingredients and beat for 2 minutes at medium speed of electric mixer, scraping bowl occasionally. Stir in enough additional flour to make a soft dough.
- Cover and let dough rest 10 minutes in bowl.
- Portion dough evenly into 12 to 15 greased muffin cups (2-1/2 x 1-1/4 inches).
- Tip: Use an ice cream scoop to make portioning easier. Cover; let rise in warm, draft free place until doubled in bulk, about 35 minutes.
- Combine egg white with 1 tablespoon water. Carefully brush tops of rolls with egg mixture; sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 375 degrees F for 15 to 18 minutes, or until lightly browned on top. Remove from pans and cool on wire rack.

YEAST-FREE GARLIC ROLLS
I just came up with this one (literally like 3 hours ago) for the picnic tonight at a friends house and I have limited ingredients at home (as in I already used up the yeast we had earlier) and I only had/have a short amount of time to make them (yay procrastination!). I modified a yeast free pizza dough recipe, and freshly made they are tasty and very similar to yeast rolls (not quite as chewy). As I found it virtually impossible to find a more-than-basic-rolls recipe with my short amount of patience with internet searches, I decided to contribute to the world wide web of recipes for the other quickly bored friends out there. I did this by hand (in a deep metal skillet, but that's beside the point) as well, so I don't know how it will translate to the mechanical world. Also I made 2 batches, so that's why the yield is a little weird and I can let you know that mixing the dry ingredients is not necessary but helps (I forgot the baking soda and salt at first on the second batch).

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and grease 24-count muffin tin(s).
- Mix the dry ingredients (all-purpose and wheat flours, baking powder, and salt) until homogeneous (looks the same throughout).
- Add wet ingredients (olive oil, eggs, and water*).
- Knead dough for 2-3 minutes.
- Fill each section of the muffin tin(s) so that the top part of the dough comes just above the rim and the majority of the section is filled (may not fill all of the tins).
- Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes or until the dough is a slightly darker brown and has a hard outer shell but still gives (not like dough but soft bread).
- Garlic Sauce: put all of the ingredients (olive oil, butter, garlic powder, and oregano) into a small bowl and whisk with a fork until the mixture looks creamy** and you cannot see any large lumps of butter (pin head sized lumps are okay).
- Brush the rolls with liberal amounts of the Garlic Sauce right when they come out of the oven before you take them out of the tin(s).
- *Add 1-1/2 cups of water to begin with and then add small amounts as you mix until a very slightly sticky dough forms and there is no more flour.
- **should look kind of like the garlic sauce from a "fast-food" pizza chain.
FAST AND EASY GARLIC ROLLS
The quickest, easiest way to spruce up refrigerated rolls! This was one of my mom's classic "company" side dishes (we kids knew when we were having guests for dinner when we saw this recipe on the counter). It originally came from the pastor's wife, Gina Hoffman, at our church growing up. You can increase the seasonings to taste - I typically use a little more of the garlic powder and oregano.

BOB CHINN'S GARLIC ROLLS
Bob Chinn's is a popular seafood restaurant in the Chicago area that is famous for it's garlic rolls. Everyone gets a basket of these as soon as they sit down. While I've not tried making this recipe, I've eaten the rolls many times. They are decadent, addicting and not for dieters! This recipe was printed in the Chicago Sun-Times several years ago. ****disclaimer on the photo: Those ARE Bob Chinn's garlic rolls but I did not make them, I just photographed, then ate them (at the restaurant).

WALL STREET GARLIC ROLLS
My husband used to be addicted to the garlic rolls from a local pizza parlor. When we moved an hour away, I had to come up with my own version to keep him happy. Whatever dough you choose to use can be varied. Some grocery stores and pizza parlors sell uncooked dough for $1-$2. I've also asked the bakery at our local Albertson's for a loaf of frozen french bread dough. They will sell it for the same price as the already baked ones. We use Buck Gardner brand Garlic Parmesan Seasoning which can be purchased online, but I'm sure there are other brands at the grocery store. Prep time includes time for dough to rise.
