Steps:
- Mix together 1st four ingredients.
- Then mix eggs with milk and add to mixture to form dough.
- Roll out on floured surface about a 1/8 inch thick and cut into desired strips.
- Boil in a broth of your choice for 10 minutes with lid off, then finish for 10 minutes with lid on.
- Eat and Enjoy!
WHITE TRASH COOKBOOK DUMPLINGS
This is my favorite standard dumpling recipe from the cookbook "White Trash Cooking." This is not a light and fluffy dumpling but more like a noodle, but not really pasta. They hold up well when making homemade chicken and dumplings. This is incredibly easy and I'm still unsure why it works so well but I won't complain.

Steps:
- Combine flour and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- Boil water and stir in butter until it is melted, too.
- Remove from heat and pour over flour.
- Mix well.
- Roll out into a 1/8th inch sheet and cut into strips or squares with a knife or pizza cutter. You may need to toss with additional flour to prevent sticking to your cutting board or rolling pin.
- Add raw strips or squares of dough to your chicken and dumpling broth (on a low simmer) for about 10 minutes. Stir once or twice gently every five minutes. No more or they might break apart or become gummy and sticky.

TOTALLY WHITE WHITE TRASH CASSEROLE
After I saw a recipe for White Trash on Pinerest and posted it here I started to think how I could change it up quite by accident. This is what I came up with and plan to try it next time. You can use more hamburger meat, I use 1lb and 1/2 and add a little milk to thin.

- Brown hamburger meat with onions.
- Add soup, thin with a small amount of milk if too thick.
- Add corn.
- Pour into a 9 x 13 greased casserole dish and top with Velvetta pieces.
- Add tator tots to top.
- Bake 375 for 35 minutes.

SHANGHAI DUMPLINGS
This recipe has never seen Shanghai but the wrappers have! This is a steamed dumpling with healthy, spicy ingredients. It is quite spicy so if you don't like anything too hot cut back on the Jalapeno & Chilie flakes. I like to serve these dumplings with Asian sweet chili sauce or with a simple soy dipping sauce. One very easy dipping sauce is 2 tbsp Soy sauce, 1 tbsp rice vinegar and 1 tsp grated fresh ginger. You do not cook this sauce just let it sit for an hour or so before serving. The wrappers are available in many super markets and for sure available in Asian markets They come in a 1 pound package in two separate sections and You only need 1 section for this recipe. Freeze the other half. Your dumplings can also be frozen and steamed directly from the feezer -they just take a couple of minutes longer. For quick preparation use your mini chopper.The wrappers are apprx a 4" circle The main difference between Shanghai Dumpling wrappers and Wonton wrapper is the flour. Dumpling wrappers are made from Rice flour Wonton wrappers ordinary flour. The dumpling wrapper becomes almost transparent when steamed. For additional zesty flavor add 1 tbsp fresh grated ginger to the filling

- In a lightly sprayed skillet mix all the ingredients except the wrappers,.
- Mix well.
- Over medium heat cook until hot through (apprx) 10 minutes.
- Cool.
- Place a slightly heaped tsp of the mixture in the center of each wrapper.
- With a Q tip moisten the edge of the wrapper all around with water.
- Bring the center of the circle together over the mixture and pull in the edges so you form a small purse. Make sure you have sealed them well.
- Spray your steamer with Pam or other oil as the dumplings may, otherwise tend to stick.
- Steam for apprx 12-15 minutes until the wrapper has an almost translucent appearance and the filling is hot.
- Serve with either a simple soy sauce or the spicy Asian sweet chili sauce.

- Mix cereal, peanuts, and raisins in a large deep bowl. Melt chips and butter, stirring until smooth.
- Pour melted chips over cereal mixture and carefully stir to coat all pieces.
- Sift powdered sugar into a small plastic trash bag or paper grocery bag. Add cereal mixture to bag and shake vigorously, making sure bag is tightly sealed.
- Arrange in a single layer on wax paper-lined cookie sheets several hours to dry. Store in airtight container.

WHITE CASTLE BREAKFAST CASSEROLE
OMG.. there isn't even a category for this.. it has to be right up there as the Queen of White Trash Cooking..if you aren't familiar with White Castles..they're similar to Castle Burgers. I found an old W.C. cookbook the other day and this was a winner. You make it up the night before and chill it, so it's ready to bake in the morning.

- Separate hamburgers and pickles from bun tops and bottoms.
- Spray a 9x13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Line entire pan, coming up halfway on the sides of the pan with the bottoms and tops of the buns.
- Chop and crumble the hamburger,and sprinkle over the buns evenly.
- Sprinkle with the cheese.
- Combine eggs,milk ,salt and pepper, green chilies (I would throw in a shot or two of Tabasco sauce).
- Pour this mixture over the cheese.
- Cover and chill overnight.
- Remove from refrigerator 15 minutes before baking.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until set, uncovered in a preheated 350°F oven.
- Garnish with a sprinkle of paprika and the pickles.

- For "WHITE TRASH," use the first four ingredients only. Or for a fun variation - add the optional chocolate chips and dry roasted peanuts to make "TRAILER TRASH!".
- Melt butter, peanut butter (and chocolate chips) together in medium sauce pan OVER LOW HEAT. Place Rice Chex (and dry roasted peanuts) in a large container (plastic salad mixing bowls with lids work great!). Pour melted mixture over Rice Chex (and peanuts) and toss, until evenly coated throughout.
- ---Kids love this part!---.
- Then pour conf. sugar over mixture (1 box at a time), place lid on container, and shake shake shake! Shake well, until all the mixture is coated with sugar. Repeat with second box.
- Serve, and enjoy!

My sister-in-law made this at Christmas-time, and everyone loved it! It's very easy to make, and makes a great snack. It also makes a great Christmas goodie to give out to friends and family. I have no idea how it got it's name....

- In a double boiler, melt white chocolate and shortening.
- Stir chocolate mixture until blended and smooth.
- In the meantime, combine all the cereal and nuts in a very large bowl.
- Pour melted white chocolate over the cereal and nuts, gently stirring to coat all pieces.
- Scoop mixture out onto large cookie sheets or jelly roll pans to set.
- After the white chocolate has hardened, break into pieces and store in a large airtight container or Ziploc-type bags.
