White Trash Potatoes Recipes

Steps:

• Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
• Cut the potatoes in half or quarters and place in a bowl with the olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic; toss until the potatoes are well coated. Transfer the potatoes to a sheet pan and spread out into 1 layer. Roast in the oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until browned and crisp. Flip twice with a spatula during cooking in order to ensure even browning.
• Remove the potatoes from the oven, toss with parsley, season to taste, and serve hot.

Steps:

• Preheat your oven to 450 degrees.
• In a 3 cup bowl with lid, add all the potato ingredients,cover and shake until potatoes are well coated.
• Place on a cookie sheet that has been lined with aluminum foil and sprayed with cooking spray, bake for 25 minutes, stirring once or twice during baking.
• While potatoes are baking, melt margarine in a medium sized skillet add Spam and lightly brown.
• Add flour and cook until " flour taste " is gone about 5 minutes.
• Then add a little milk at a time, stirring until desired thickness is reached ( you might need a little bit more milk ) add salt and pepper to taste.
• Divide potatoes between two plates, and cover with gravy.

Steps:

• Let frozen hash browns thaw a little to make mixing easier. Mix all ingredients together, put in a lightly greased 9 x 13 pan and bake at 350 for approximately 45 minutes. Remove from oven, stir well and sprinkle with crunchy topping. Return to the oven and bake an additional 15 minutes. This dish is vegetarian, but ground beef and garlic can be added.
