CREAMY BACON-WRAPPED BAKED CHICKEN THIGHS

Deliciously slow-cooked in the oven, these chicken skewers make a fun party dish!

Creamy Bacon-Wrapped Baked Chicken Thighs image

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Spread chicken thighs out flat and pound if necessary with a meat mallet. Spread cream cheese across each thigh. Roll up chicken thighs, tucking in the sides. Wrap each chicken roll with at least 1 slice of bacon and secure with a skewer.
  • Place chicken rolls in a deep casserole dish. Pour entire can of condensed cream of chicken soup over the chicken rolls. Cover dish with aluminum foil .
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Remove foil. Continue cooking until chicken is no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear and bacon is crisp, 20 more minutes.

Air Fryer Bacon-Wrapped Chicken Thighs image

Steps:

  • Combine softened butter, garlic, thyme, basil, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Place butter on a piece of wax paper and roll up rightly to form a butter log. Refrigerate until firm, about 2 hours.
  • Lay one bacon strip flat on a piece of wax paper. Place chicken thigh on top of the bacon and sprinkle with garlic. Open up the chicken thigh. Place 1-2 tsp of the cold finishing butter in the middle of the chicken thigh. Tuck one end of bacon into the middle of the chicken thigh. Fold over the chicken thigh and roll the bacon around the chicken thigh. Repeat with remaining thighs and bacon.
  • Preheat an air fryer to 370 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Place chicken thighs in the basket of the air fryer and cook until chicken is no longer pink and the juices run clear, about 25 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted near the bone should read 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Spread chicken thighs out flat and remove the bones. Place skin-side down and rub mustard on top. Divide pickle slices, ham, and 2/3 of the Gruyere over the chicken thighs. Roll up each thigh and secure with 2 strips of bacon crosswise.
  • Place thighs on a baking pan; place remaining Gruyere on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until chicken is no longer pink in the center, about 40 minutes.

  • Preheat oven to 400°. Flatten chicken to 1/2-in. thickness. Spread 3 tablespoons cream cheese over each. Dot with butter and sprinkle with salt; roll up.
