BRAZILIAN BLOOM

A crisp, Spring and Summer drink using Cachaca (a Brazilian style liquor similar to rum made with sugar cane - yummy!) from RR. **Cachaça is often said to differ from rum in that it is made from sugarcane juice while rum is made from either molasses or sugarcane juice then aged in oak barrels.** Updated per reviewer response. :) Thank you!

Steps:

  • In a cocktail shaker, combine the lime wedges, sugar and hibiscus; muddle with a wooden spoon.
  • Fill halfway with cracked ice.
  • Add the Cachaca and shake for 15 seconds.
  • Strain the mixture into a cordial glass.
  • Enjoy! ;).
