I got this recipe from a co-worker some years ago - it makes a nice large batch!

Steps:
- Thoroughly cream sugars, margarine, oil, egg, milk and vanilla.
- Add dry ingredients, nuts and chocolate chips.
- Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 8-12 minutes. (Cookies are light in color when done.)

FAMOUS AMOS RAISIN CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
Steps:
- Soak raisins for 20 minutes in hot water; drain well. Preheat oven to 375*F. Beat margarine, sugars, vanilla, water and eggs in large bowl with electric mixer until creamy and thoroughly blended. By hand, stir in flour, baking soda, and salt until well mixed. Stir in raisins and chocolate chips. Spoon dough by teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheets. Allow 1-1/2 to 2 inches between cookies for spreading. Bake for 8 minutes or until cookies are nicely browned, depending on how crisp or well done you like them
