DRIED BEEF CHEESE BALL
This recipe is our family's holiday favorite. Grandma usually doubles the recipe, otherwise it won't last long! It can be rolled in ground nuts, bacon bits, or left plain.

Steps:
- In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, dried beef, and chopped onions. Mix well, then season with onion salt, monosodium glutamate, and Worcestershire sauce. Form into a ball, and refrigerate.

FESTIVE DRIED BEEF CHEESE BALL
A slight twist from the others. Use your favorite french onion dip to create a creamier version! This has been in my recipe file for the last two decades and always receives compliments! Sorry Heather, I should have stressed to really rinse the dried beef well to wash away the salty residue, as I always have success.

- Chop the dried beef into small pieces and mix with all other ingredients except nuts.
- Form ball, roll in chopped nuts and refrigerate until firm.
