HERSHEY'S KISS PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES

There are a few like these on here, but this particular recipe is my favorite. And I think it is the official version directly from Hershey's.

Hershey's Kiss Peanut Butter Cookies image

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • In mixer, beat shortening and peanut butter until well blended; Blend in sugars and beat until light and fluffy.
  • Add egg, milk and vanilla; Beat well.
  • Stir together flour, baking soda and salt; gradually mix in peanut butter mixture.
  • Shape dough into 1-inch balls and rollin additional sugar.
  • Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • Immediately place a Hershey's Kiss on each cookie and press down slightly.

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Mix ½ cup sugar, brown sugar, peanut butter, butter, shortening, and egg thoroughly. Stir in flour, baking soda and baking powder.
  • Mold dough into 1-inch balls; roll in sugar. Place about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake until edges are light brown, 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Immediately press candy kisses firmly into each cookie, cool.

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup shortening
1 egg
1 1/2 cups flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda

These cookies are so good and go away so fast! I make them for my friends all the time and they absolutely love them! The peanut butter Hershey kiss hidden inside the cookie is the best. They are probably my favorite cookies to make! :)

Hershey's Kisses Peanut Butter Surprise Cookies! image

Steps:

  • Remove wrappers from peanut butter filled chocolates.
  • Beat butter and peanut butter in large bowl until light and fluffy. Add sugar, corn syrup, egg and vanilla; blend well. Stir together flour, baking soda and salt; add to peanut butter mixture, blending well.
  • Heat oven to 350°F Shape dough into 30 (about 1-1/4 inch) balls. Press peanut butter filled chocolate piece into each ball; covering completely with dough. Reshape into balls; roll in granulated sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown around edges. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely.
  • Set aside 30 peanut butter filled chocolates. Place remaining chocolates in heavy-duty resealable plastic food storage bag. Microwave at MEDIUM (50%) 1 minute; knead. If necessary, microwave at MEDIUM an additional 15 seconds at a time, kneading after each heating, just until chocolates are melted and mixture is smooth. Cut small piece from corner of bag; drizzle melted chocolate over cookies. Before drizzle sets, place peanut butter filled chocolate in center of each cookie. Allow drizzle to harden.

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F. In large bowl, beat 1/2 cup granulated sugar, the brown sugar, peanut butter, butter and egg with electric mixer on medium speed, or mix with spoon, until well blended. Stir in flour, baking soda and baking powder until dough forms.
  • Shape dough into 1-inch balls; roll in additional granulated sugar. On ungreased cookie sheets, place about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Immediately press 1 milk chocolate candy in center of each cookie. Remove from cookie sheets to cooling rack.
