THE BEST GARLIC BREAD
We went very classic with this garlic bread recipe-lots of butter and lots of garlic loaded onto warm, soft and pillowy French bread. You could make a light meal by rounding it out with a crisp green salad. Or serve it our favorite way-alongside your favorite red-sauce pasta.

Steps:
- Arrange a rack in the center of oven and preheat to 450 degrees F.
- Melt the butter in a small skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, until the butter is golden and the garlic is very fragrant, about 3 minutes.
- Slice the bread in half lengthwise. Liberally brush the crust with the garlic butter. Turn the bread cut-side up. Slice each loaf crosswise at 2-inch intervals without cutting all the way through, making "pull-apart" garlic bread. Liberally brush the cut sides of the bread with more garlic butter, spreading any remaining garlic evenly over top. You should use all the garlic butter. Carefully transfer the bread to a rimmed baking sheet.
- Sprinkle the loaves with the Parmesan and a pinch of salt and bake until the edges of the bread are a deep golden brown, 10 to 15 minutes. Top with the parsley. Serve warm.
STUFFED GARLIC BREAD
This is my favorite way to make garlic bread. It doesn't take any extra time and it looks really impressive on the table. This recipe is for garlic bread, but use it as a jumping off point to fill with any combination of cheese, onion... anything that you like! I have made one stuffed with provolone, asiago and pepperoni slices...

- 6. Sprinkle with a pinch of coarse salt, garlic powder and parsley.
- 7. Wrap in greased or oiled foil and bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees. *** Can serve with marinara sauce as an appetizer.
IN-A-PINCH GARLIC BREAD
I had returned to New York from California this New Year to an empty kitchen and a snowstorm. Unable to get any groceries immediately, I had to make do with what I had on hand. I found some hero rolls that I had purchased just before I left on my trip, and decided to make garlic bread, even though I had no butter or fresh garlic. The result was actually really tasty!

Steps:
- 1. In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients; stir until well blended. Scoop mixture onto the center of some wax paper and gather the sides to compact the butter. Fold one side over and form a log, tightening it up. Roll it up to the other side and twist the ends tight. To prevent from opening, fold ends under. Chill until it hardens, about 2 hours.
- 2. In the bowl of a stand mixer, add yeast, lukewarm milk and honey. Let it sit for 15 minutes or until foamy.
- 3. Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, add 2 cups flour (reserve ¾ cup on the side), garlic powder and salt; whisk until well combined and set aside.
- 4. Add unsalted butter, egg and ¼ cup Parmesan cheese to yeast. Using a dough hook, mix the ingredients well. Add flour mixture and process on low speed for 3 minutes. Add 1 tbsp. reserved flour at a time to the bowl, mixing well after each addition, until the dough clings around the hook and pulls away from the sides. Increase speed to 4 and knead for 4 minutes.
- 5. With oily hands, form dough into a ball by pulling under and transfer to a lightly greased bowl with olive oil. Cover loosely with a clean dish towel and let rise in a warm, draft-free spot (in the oven with temperature off) until doubled in size, about 1 ½ hours.
- 6. When rising time is up, punch dough and transfer to a lightly floured work surface. Sprinkle flour on dough and form a ball by pulling under. Using a bench scrapper, cut dough ball in half (sprinkle more flour if needed) and cut each half in half. Form ball with each piece. Cut each ball in half and each of them in half again, pulling under and forming a ball - in total, 32 balls is needed for this recipe.
- 7. Preheat oven to 375ºF and place a small ramekin dish upside down in the center of a lightly greased 12"x1" deep dish pizza pan; set aside.
- 8. Working with one ball at a time, flatten it out to about 2 ½-inches around and place a piece of mozzarella in the center followed with a small piece of hard garlic butter. Gather the edges together making sure the stuffing mixture is well covered and tightly pinch it closed. Transfer to the prepared pizza pan, leaving a small space in between. Cover and let it proof for 30 minutes.
- 9. In a small bowl, combine egg and milk; beat well and set aside.
- 10. Brush egg wash on dough balls after rising time is up. Transfer to preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, melt garlic butter. Remove from the heat and brush on a generous amount of melted butter and evenly sprinkle on the remaining ¼ cup of Parmesan cheese. Return to oven and bake for 3 minutes or until cheese is somewhat melted.

ONION GARLIC BEER BREAD
We absolutely love this bread! I use fresh green onions and fresh garlic. Any beer will do too! If you want to use 3 cup of self rising flour it works just as good! Just omit the Baking Powder and the Salt! Otherwise follow as directed. I love to make this when I make a stew or something with a gravy. I do hope you...

Yum, this cheesy garlic bread is divine. The cheesy center inside the soft warm bread is drenched in melted garlic butter. The outside has the perfect crusty texture. This will become a family favorite for you too!

Steps:
- 1. Mix warm water, yeast, brown sugar and olive oil until yeast is dissolved.
- 2. Add bread flour and salt to form a dough.
- 3. Cover in oiled/greased bowl and let rise until doubled in size.
- 4. Turn dough out onto a floured surface. Kneading isn't really necessary with this dough. Roll out into large rectangle.
- 5. Slice each side with a sharp knife so each side has strips.
- 6. In a small bowl, melt butter and garlic in the microwave.
- 7. Fill with cheeses. Pour garlic butter into cheese with a spoon to get as many garlic pieces into the cheese mixture. Reserve enough garlic/butter mixture to brush the top of the bread with.
- 8. Fold end up over cheese mixture and braid your pieces from side to side to close. Fold final end up over cheese and last 2 dough strips over to seal. Place on greased sheet, cover with a clean towel and let rise for 15 minutes.
- 9. Brush with remaining garlic butter.
- 10. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20-30 minutes until starting to get golden on top of bread. Once baked, brush with plain butter, slice, and serve!
GARLIC AND HERB MONKEY BREAD
This is my most frequently asked for bread. This also comes from the Book Bread Machine Magic. Feel free to change the herbs around a little, I always add more rosemary because I love it, and I have a pot growing outside

Steps:
- 1. Put all bread ingredients in bread pan in the order given. Cut butter into 4 chunks and deposit in each corner.
- 2. Turn bread machine on, and it will beep when dough is complete, my bread machine this is exactly one hour.
- 3. Turn dough on a floured surface. Gently roll and stretch dough into a 24 inch rope.
- 4. In a small bowl combine the melted butter, garlic, and herbs.
- 5. With a sharp knife, divide the dough into 40 sections. The easiest way is to divide in half, that in half, and so on. I use a yard stick for this.
- 6. Roll each piece in a ball, dip in butter and place in a bundt pan, butter side down.
- 7. Cover and allow to rise double in size. I turn oven on low 2 minutes, turn it off, then put dough in to rise.
- 8. Heat oven to 375 degrees if your bread is still in oven, just leave it in. bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
