- Cook cabbage in boiling water until tender; drain thoroughly. In a large skillet, saute onion in 5 tablespoons butter until tender. Stir in soup. Add cheese; stir until melted. Remove from the heat. Stir in the cabbage, salt and pepper. , Transfer to an ungreased 2-qt. baking dish. In a small skillet, melt remaining butter. Cook and stir crumbs in butter until lightly browned; sprinkle over casserole. , Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes or until heated through.

UNSTUFFED CABBAGE ROLL
This is a quick and easy main dish. My kids don't even like cabbage, but they love this. I usually try to serve it with green beans, new potatoes, corn, and a pan of corn bread. They eat over half the pan every time. Also, the longer it stands the better it tastes.

- Heat a Dutch oven or large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir beef and onion in the hot Dutch oven until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes; drain and discard grease. Add cabbage, tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, garlic, salt, and pepper and bring to a boil. Cover Dutch oven, reduce heat, and simmer until cabbage is tender, about 30 minutes.

- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- 2. In a medium skillet, sauté onion in butter until soft, but not brown.
- 3. Add ground meat.
- 4. Cook, breaking up the meat until meat loses its pink color.
- 5. In a 2-quart buttered casserole or baking dish, layer the carrots and half the cabbage.
- 6. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- 7. Add meat mixture, press down slightly.
- 8. Add remaining cabbage.
- 9. To spaghetti sauce, add Worcestershire sauce and chives.
- 10. Pour sauce over top of casserole.
- 11. Cover.
- 12. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 1 hour or until cabbage is soft and meat is cooked through.
- 13. Add cheese on top.
- 14. Bake, uncovered, for another 5 to 8 minutes until cheese is melted.
- 15. Serve immediately.

- Lightly coat 8x8-inch microwavable glass baking dish with cooking spray.
- Place 1 1/2 cups slaw mix in baking dish, distributing evenly; sprinkle 1/4 cup of the dried apples over the slaw, Then place pork chops on top of slaw-apple layer; Repeat with the remaining 1 1/2 cups slaw then 1/4 cup apples, sprinkle with caraway seeds.

- Brown hamburger, onion and minced garlic in a skillet on top of the stove, drain. Whisk together in a bowl until well mixed tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, thyme, black pepper, salt, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and sugar
