- 1. Crush vanilla wafers. Mix with powdered sugar, melted butter, and orange juice.
- 2. Add nuts.
- 3. Shape into one inch balls and roll in powdered sugar or coconut. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

- 1. Mix sugar, wafer crumbs and nuts. Add juice; mix until it all sticks together. With hands, roll into small balls, using about a level tablespoon of mix for each. Roll in coconut. Store in refrigerator in airtight container. Makes about 5 dozen.

- Form into small balls the size of hickory nut (grandma's notes). I imagine a hickory nut is about a 1" size ball.
- Do Not refrigerate.
- Place in an air-tight container and keep at room temperature.
