It's almost hard to believe that such a scrumptious, festive cheese dip uses only three ingredients. Just add your favorite crackers, and you'll have the hit of the party. -Pat Stevens, Granbury, Texas

Steps:

  • Spread cream cheese onto a small serving platter. Top with salsa and pecans. Refrigerate until serving. Serve with crackers.

Raspberry Chipotle Sauce image

Steps:

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Stir in jalapenos; cook until tender, about 5 minutes. Mix in garlic, and adobo sauce; bring to a simmer. Stir the raspberries into the sauce; cook until soft, about 3 minutes. Stir in the vinegar, salt, brown sugar, and white sugar. Mix well. Simmer until thickened and reduced by half, about 15 minutes. Transfer sauce to a heatproof bowl; allow to cool to room temperature before serving, about 20 minutes.

Steps:

  • Mix raspberry preserves with chipotle marinade seasoning. Refrigerate for 6-12 hours (to soften ingredients in seasoning).
  • After raspberry chipotle sauce has finished setting, spread softened cream cheese onto platter until about 1/4 inch thick. Spread raspberry chipotle sauce on top, careful not to combine the two.
  • Serve with crackers.

Raspberry Chipotle Cheddar Cheese Dip image

Steps:

  • In a large bowl empty the package of shredded cheese.
  • Add the 2 or 3 chopped green onions.
  • Add the mayonaise (use whatever amount you like in order to form the cheese together).
  • After everything is well blended, use your hands or a rubber spatula to form the cheese into a disc shape.
  • Place the cheese disc on a platter and pour the raspberry chipotle sauce over the top (cover the entire cheese disc, you will not use entire jar).
  • Most of this recipe is according to taste and how much onions and sauce you like.
  • Eat with Fritos.

Steps:

  • 1. Chop peppers. Mix cream cheese and preserves until well blended. Add chopped peppers with a bit of the adobe sauce. Blend together. Keep refrigerated until 10 minutes before serving with tortilla chips. The heat of the peppers sneaks up on you, so adjust number of peppers to suit your own tastes and tolerance. More chopped peppers can always be added, but not taken away.
