Steps:
- Cream butter and sugar together. Add yolks and beat well. Add vanilla and stir. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cinnamon, baking soda, salt and cloves. Mix together all ingredients except nuts and dates. Then add nut and dates. Roll about a teaspoonful in a ball and slightly flatten. Put on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 325 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Note - No real billy goats were used in the making of this recipe.
